*Sapphy steps to the podium and begins to speak*
I am a Black woman. I am beautiful, kind, dynamic and intelligent. I am a queen. I’m passionate, altrOOistic and elegant. Yes, people, I am a Black woman!
We are Black women. We are hues of yellow, tan, dark brown skin and pure. Throughout history and in the future Black women will endure. We know power and pain; we know joy and struggle. We are gracious like the gazelle and cats in the jungle.
We are builders, inventors, actors, teachers, architects and lovers. We are scientists, doctors, mothers, fathers, sistas and brothas. I said sistas and brothas! I AM a Black WOMAN.
At 5’2 I stand proud and tall. I fight and protect when my back is against the wall. You can’t keep me down. Who the fvck are you?!! I am a Black woman. And what are you?
I am Martin. I am Jazz. I am Malcolm. I am Sojourner Truth. I am Compton. I am New Orleans. I am Darfur and Ruth. I am Ayiti. I am Nairobi. I am Soul. I am Blues and Timbuktu. I am Lena. I am C.J. I am Zora. I am Nina and Winnie too. I am greatness! So tell me again… who are you?
I am wise, shy, courageous, bold, and blood diamond hard. You can only catch a glimpse of all that is me When I rock my Buttercream and Powder Blue across the yard!
It makes me smile sometimes. It makes me cry sometimes. But every day I wake up and shout. I am a Black woman! Do you here me? Be proud y’all. Get loud y’all…we are Black women!
Everywhere I go the pride shines radiantly on my sun-kissed face. Study the world, universe and even celestial space One can never truly understand the beauty, power, wonder and depth of my race. And Black is the color of my true loves face. Black IS the color of my true loves face.
Give Thanks! We are Black women… Sapphire is a Black woman. I am a Black woman.
Sheeeit! You didn’t know?!

Greetings and Good Afternoon!
On behalf of the Lovely Ladies of Omega Omicron E-Sorority, Inc. I welcome you to “Precious Jewels,” our Women's History Month program. The poem I recited earlier, demonstrated my pride as a Black woman. But today we will celebrate the history, intellect, strength, beauty, generosity, courage and success of ALL women from all over the world. So sit back, relax and enjoy the program. Thank you!

*Sapphy and BP return to the stage*
And now we have a very special tribute to two women right here on OOA that mean so very much to us.
*Sapphire and BP step forward with two beautiful bouquets of orchids*
BP: We cannot honor women’s history without acknowledging Omega Omicron’s dynamic, beautiful, bold, visionary, legendary and Most Honorable E-Founders LejaLaMorena and Spr2001nj. If it were not for you, we would not be. We would not know the love of an e-sorority.
Sapphy: You stepped forward, so classy so serene and e-paved the way for the Powder Blue and Buttercream dream. Your e-courage and inspiration lead to something the world will never forget… you are the mothers of the e-sorority movement!
*The crowd cheers and applauds as Sapphy and BP present the bouquets to Leja.*
Most Honorable E-Founder Spr2001nj could not be here. ColdFront accepts this bouquet on her behalf.
