Ok, gather 'round my children and you shall hear, of the Con Law Ride of L Revere
So I had to take my mother to work at umpteen o'clock this morning, so after that I went straight to school, sat in my classroom about 75 minutes before class started.
As class is about to start, this 25-20 walks in the room and stands on the stairs (it's stadium-style seating) looking distraught and perturbed for at least a full minute.... she walks to the back of the room...walks back to the front, stands about 25 feet from me and says "I hate to be a bitch, but I was sitting here last class."
My reaction: :-|
so she says "and I would really like to sit there, I'm sorry for the incovenience" (as though its a given that I will move and inconvenience myself)
My reaction: more :-|
She says, "I'd really really like to sit there so would you mind moving?"
{~~ is still on her campaign to teach 25-20s that they not just gon treat me however they want
{~~ already knew good and gotdaggon well she wasn't goin nowhere...so I decided to engage her in conversation...
I said "if you'd really really like to sit here, where would you really really like for me to sit?" She didn't catch the point I was making...why are your preferences more important than mine ESPECIALLY when I got here first? Manifest destiny my azz!
She began to scan the room (looking way in the back) and says "well...there's a seat"
eff that son
I cut her off. I said "you know, I shouldn't have asked because the truth is I'd rather not get up." No apologies, no equivocations, the end. She was visibly pissed and all my lil classmates was lookin like "uh oh, WTF bout to pop off?"
Then class started and she took her lil azz to the back but the GOTCHA GOTCHA is...
the professor handed out a seating chart and so all of our seats are now permanent. The girl right beside me got a phone call and had to leave class before they were finalized and the first girl could've moved there, BUT relegated herself to the back row for the balance of the semester because she refused to treat me like a human.
Go fig.

But that's the point Sista, you want that seat so you get there early... you don't ask someone else to relinquish the seat and actually expect them to do it just because they sat there last week. That is bogus.

because she found it absolutely absurd that she should be dissatisfied in any way, despite the fact that the dissatisfaction was her own fault for not being earlier and was further appalled that the only thing standing between her and the seat of her dreams was a nigger.

25-20s...I thought my coworker made that up.  Anyway, GOOD FOR YOU. HOW DARE she even fix her mouth to ask you this. WTF? I would have felt better if she said something like, "I am legally blind, and it is much easier to see the board if I sit here"--something like that makes since. But just because she "wanted" to sit there? GTFOOHWTBS. Something like that happened to me about 2-3 years ago at the gym, and I regret that I gave in to this person's demands.  |

For real though, Ol' Girl was probably from the Paris Hilton lifestyle where the world revolves around them and they're used to getting their way
I can't imagine asking someone to get up out of a seat just because I wanted it unless they were a Lamp.

And I give YTs the boot all the time. This one chick in my class last semester was on the track team and thought I would be the notetaker extraordinaire for her and the CCDS (Campus disability services).
She seemed to think that because I was taking notes for some other people in the class I would just run along and do the shit for her as well. Uhhhh no!!

It's stupid arese people in general that get all silly over some seats but with clear people it's different.
I'm in grad school and haven't seen a seating chart since high school in 2000. I have a Black classmate that acts like that and I was WAITING for the day he said something about me sitting in his usual seat cause I was going to go off, lol.
As far as the Lily people one day some girl was sitting her clear azz on the table in the library and I went and started putting my stuff down on the other end. She kept looking at me so I kept looking at her. Then she said something stupid about her being at that table and I was just like "uh ok" and sat down. Then she's like "Oh, I was just playing *chuckle*" I just ignored her and opened up my laptop.
I was thinking I know she did not think I was going to move. And then she said "I'm just playing" like she was giving me a pass...old silly heffa. Had I said what I really wanted to say then they would have escorted my Fisk azz right on out of there, lol.
Man they trip me out thinking they own the world or that stuff is supposed to be there way.
