...would you post it here for peer review?
I'm putting together (or rather cleaning up) my website with concept tracks (muis, without lyrics, roughly mixed, without much sequencing) and I was thinking about posting it here (until I saw what happened to ol' girl on G9 with her Greek art work).
What do you all think?

That was a very different situation Damie. We're more like family over here, so even if we do clown you, you know its all love. And you also have to remember, that was her first, or one of her first posts over there...so nobody even knew who she was. And she also wasn't posting it for review...she posted it to try to sell product. And last but not least, I doubt even your roughly mixed tracks can be of as poor quality as the stuff she had on her site.

she posted this website for her business, which makes "custom" Greek items, and it all looked like stuff made by 5 year olds...so they straight ripped her a new one. I was trying to find the thread to send you the link, but couldn't. It started out as simple constructive criticism, but then devolved into them clowning her, her site, and her work.

It was a virtual Blood letting GNG. It was like Apollo theatre on the internet. I had jokes ready and waiting to go but by the time everyone else was done, I just didn't have the heart to do it. I mean they M U R D E R E D her.
greek9.com/forum/index.php?topic=1807.0
It's like 35 pages long so you probably won't want to read the whole thing. But she had a sort of clock in the shape of a paddle designed for GLO's and the running joke became what to call it: a claddle or a plock.
One of the paddle/clock hybrids she did was so poorly received a Sigma asked if it was a Zeta Boat Oar or something like that. I just didn't have the heart to jump on top of the towering dog pile so I didn't. I PM'ed her and made some suggestions. She has since e-mailed me back with her newest work, and I sent some more suggestions. I'm trying to support black business.
Anyway her website is down, she did take some of the advice to get it professionally designed - that's why it's down. She's having it worked on. Now I'm trying to convince her to invest in her craft. To take art lessons, to study abstract art, etc. I don't know how well that's going to be received but I tried.
And I hear you QS, I know I'll get less of a Piranha review over here... but sometimes, the "Meat Eater" response is best - especially if you aren't good. I would still take some of it personal. Of course that would also inspire me to prove people wrong too. So maybe after I clean some stuff up I'll post it.

it was really bad, especially after I made the "mistake" of sending the link to Trunks. I thought the first 28 pages were bad, til she entered the thread.
Damie, did you see the Teddy Ruxpin on the Omega paddle? What's up with that?

She took it all in stride for the most part. But they sliced her up something terrible.

Damie, did you see the Teddy Ruxpin on the Omega paddle? What's up with that? Yeah I saw it Android mentioned it. That's the part I was going to clown but by then - I just didn't see the point. It would be like stepping in the ring and punch a fighter in the throat that was already unconscious.
To me it didn't look Teddy Ruxpin. I was gonna say that it looked like a shaved Mogwai - but like I said... I actually felt bad for the woman so I just left it alone

The Zeta paddle/clock hybrid had, what was described by most Zetas who saw it, a Zeta Dominatrix uniform. To top it off, apparently she put the Z and B in place first and didn't budget enough room for the Phi, so she had to squeeze it in...
...it was also not well received.
The Deltas actually contacted their nationals about the stuff she was selling for them. It got ugly.

yeah, they're really strict about their items being sold on th web. I know our National Office is really strict about licensing/branding too

Maybe the AKAs can answer it. I'm guessing it was just her artistic interpretation. If you look at the comments below the photo, it didn't go well there either.
