WALKING ON FAITH

BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF 00A;

Though we are all of various faiths and denominations, we are all taught to walk by faith. And it is through these trails and tribulations in which we are able to give testimony of our strengthening faiths. And our testimony is that which gives hope to those that walk behind us in search of the same Paradise that we all one day will attain.

One of our greatest attributes is our belief that a higher power has influence over our lives. And it is our devotion that gives us the hope needed to walk forward through this life. And if we stray from this path, we continue down a "broad and wide" road to damnation.

Brothers and sisters, I post this as an inspiration... a billboard if you will. Just a little something that gives you hope. In the book of Ephesians, it speaks of faith as "a shield", that being a device used for protection. And in those times, the shield was used to stop spears and arrows from injuring or killing the holder. So one can imagine, the bigger the shield, the larger the amount fo protection. Marinate on that!

Brothers and sisters, no matter your faith, walk forward with confidence knowing that God is not only behind you, but all around you. And if you walk for him, He will protect you.

"Peace be Still"
We are all familiar with the story of Jesus and his disciples traveling on a boat and going through a storm. And though the storm was rocking the boat and the disciples wer complaining, Jesus slept quietly. And finally when the disciples woke Jesus, he saw the look of desparation on their faces, he spoke unto the water... "peace. be still."

We can look on this in different perspectives in which I will only take two:

1. Jesus was unwavered by the storm. His faith that God will protect him guided jesus to a state of inner peace and awareness that God will not let anything harm him.

2. In times of trials and tribulations, there will be times where we will lose faith and forget that we are creations fo GOD. Those are the times, in which we need to cling closer to God and fight knowing that God will bring us through. The peace that Jesus spoke of was not in the sake of bringing the water to a calm, but to bring peace into the heart of those who are troubled. Have peace in the knowledge that GOD is with you. "Be still" and receive the wisdom that GOD has for you.

Well said! I think many get FAITH confused with HOPE. FAITH is knowing, Hope is wishing and this dilemma is faced by many when "going through". SO KEEP the FAITH not only for self but for others as well.
