Intro/Newbie Thread

I suggest we lock the intro thread. That was set up when everyone was just checking in to the new site. Or we can lock the newbie thread so there's just one. People post in one place and then get sent to the other. I think it would be good to have one general place (thread) for newbies to say hi and old heads to announce they're return.
