With the TERRIBLE start for the following players (otherwise GREAT hitters), in the wake of HUGE steroid awareness and finger pointing, is it a mere coincidence that these guys can't even hit .200 right now? Or, conversely, where these guys juicing and now stopped out of fear of getting caught. Your thoughts  1. Big Papi (batting a robust .104) 2. Andruw Jones .114 3.Jim Thome .156 4. Placido Polanco .159 5.Adam Dunn .167 6. Ryan Howard .191 7. Troy Tulowiski .159 |

I think its too early to draw those conclusions...some of those guys could still end the season around .300. With that being said, its possible all of them were juicing...lol.

lol... but think about Andruw Jones... he was TERRIBLE last year too... To be such a great career hitter, and now can't hit his way out of a wet paper bag  I know everybody goes on slumps but C'mon! |

No....look at his batting stance compared to last year. Hands are out and plus he's swinging with his front shoulder and hips in right field!..In other words, no balance and waaaay out in front of the ball....IMO 7. No, sophomore jinx. |

I think its early. If you look at half these dudes they have been or are currently battling injury too.

I say yes on Adam Dunn, Thome, Jones, and Polanco. Agreed %100... I really don't believe that Papi, Howard or Tulowiski are juicing, their #'s were really low, so I just threw them in there...lol. I watched Boston last night... Ortiz is opening up his stance waaaaaaaay too early and he is just thinking too much. He'll fix his swing and by August, he'll be hitting walk-off's left and right  But, in all seriousness, HAS ANYBODY EVER SEEN PLACIDO POLANCO WITHOUT A HAT? Good googly moogly that dude got a steroid injected head....lol.  He's a CONTACT HITTER and to me, he has NO EXCUSE to be doing so poorly. Power hitters I understand, but not him...he's a career #2 hitter that NEVER strikes out so I know that THAT BIG HEADED RASCAL WAS juicing...lol. |

Howard and Ortiz I highly doubt are juiced up. I mean not for nothing but I don;t think David could even use the stuff correctly lol. They are just slumping and will return to form soon enough
