According to RIAA.com, the ppl that certify singles and album The Carter II is certified platinum. Wikipedia says he sold 1.3 million which would be in line with platinum status

Wow....and I thought I was the only one that thought this dude counldn't rap. Is it me or does his ryhmes/rap even make sense? It's seem like he doesn't even put any thought when he's writing (if he writes) or when he's coming up with his ish. He's like a nursery ryhme artist.....abc 'n 123.
