Who had the chance to the episode? I was talking and watching, therefore I might have missed some pertinent details. I did see the guys perform their first single, and really enjoyed it. I am not sure about Donnie's single with P.Diddy. It did not have a good flow.

I like it but it was really Justin Timberlakeish to me. I really like the Danity Kane song though.

MTV must being paying Diddy a lot of loot, for him to continue in doing these types of shows. The story is over, and now its time to see what they have to offer, away from the "close camera" movements. Let's see what the tabloids will write, and the ET's, Insider, etc have to say about the groups once they get started. Diddy's home video version has really gotten old.

Donnies song was suspect. The songs they showed him doing on the show were more acceptable. Like it or not he will come off like JT no matter what because most producers are followers and not leaders. He will just be a carbon copy Sadly. I was impressed by Danity Kane. As a whole they have the goods in terms of harmony, voices and performance. The thing that will stop them if they are not careful is Puffy's limited vision and lack of attention once he signs other people. Bad Boy is where careers go to die...just look at the list....New Edition, 112, Dream, Shine, Black Rob, G Dep, Cherry Dennis, Cassie, Carl Thomas, Faith, Gina Thompson, Craig Mack, Total etc. He killed them all after they started off with a bang.

Its all about the timing and right now Donnie is not what is considered "envogue".

I agree southie. It would be different if the songs were tight and his voice was super tight but neither is the case so its going to be a wrap. Its sad because he seems like a pretty good dude with his head on straight.

I'm going to be watching the Making the Band show on the tour.
I feel bad for these kids. I was told that on Wendy Williams' show, DK admitted that they don't really make any money.
On the plus side, they make the kind of music that's really popular these days, so they make make some $$ from the tour.
The fellas? I like their album (like the last 3/4 of it), but the show is not enough to promote them. DK went No. 1 because they have a fan base and their music is trendy now. The guys probably won't have the same success. All Diddy is concerned with is the fast long money for himself. These guys are gonna have to leave Bad Boy if they want long careers.
LMAO @ Mike saying their goal is to go Diamond! Poor thing!

Dappa....I said the same thing. Sad thing is one of the cats is from my hometown and runs with a few dudes who are like family to me. They say he is cool though. Something is a little suspect about them but I was chocking it up to them being young and immature. Who knows.

I couldn't agree with you more! Looking at all of his past artist, Puffy could still be making money, but all of them either fell off or went to other labels. Puffy is a career killer. LOL!

Puzzler that is what happens when you have little to no real music talent but have the money to call the shots. He classes with artist who can right, sing and have their own vision because he is into that catchy superficial mess that has run rampant and soiled the airwaves.

I was nyc and went to DK's album release party at Tenjune - they suck. period. Whenever they played their music - everyone just stopped dancing. There were celebs there of course, the funny thing is at their ALBUM RELEASE PARTY IN NYC....DIDDY wasnt even there!! WTF. Even Pattie Labelle was there! and he wasnt!! WTF. (sidenote: i was in VIP the whole time ) People that i was talking with up there, dont take DK seriously - reality tv stars dont really work for it... Diddy is just crazy and thats just the bottom line - he doesnt care about them..

Well, if he could not take the time out of his busy schedule to promote his group, that shows about how much faith he has in them. But why waste the time and the money?
