*sigh* It's official. Brett Favre has 4 years and 364 days until his Hall of Fame nomination and enshrinement. He has officially retired. Good times man, good times.....
*tips hat to #4* *stands and applaudes* *a tear falls*

I give old man Favre his props...he had a great career...but personally, I'm glad cuz I won't have to watch 30 minutes of each Sportscenter devoted to debates on whether he'll come back.

I know you're sad aces.... but look on the bright side, no more heaves 60 yards downfield into quadruple coverage....

*sigh*
my adult Packer-fan life was spent with a HOF QB. I now know what Bulls fans felt like at the end of the MJ eras.
BTW: John Clayton, HOF writer, has Favre in top three All Time Greatest QB's in NFL history ahead of Marino and Elway and behind Unitas and Montana.

Meh...
Brett Farve. Decent Quarterback. Cut far too much slack by John Madden. Rocket arm. Not afraid to throw into any coverage (including triple coverage). Unorthodox yet effective. Superbowl champion. MVP. Likable guy. It was a good career. He'll almost certainly be snatched up to do game analysis. The networks would be fools to not at least try him in the booth.

The story is not getting a lot of local coverage in the Chi. Not too many people seem to really care. Z.S. Still love ya Frat! ;D

For the last time..... if Brett Favre would've been named Michael Johnson, his ass would've been out the league 10 years ago......
