While I don't advocate wearing you pants like this...we all know who this was aimed at and I'm glad they called the racist bastages out.
Baggy pants ban "unconstitutional," rules US judge Tue Sep 16, 2:02 PM ET
A Florida judge has deemed unconstitutional a law banning baggy pants that show off the wearer's underwear, local media reported Tuesday.
A 17-year-old spent a night in jail last week after police arrested him for wearing low pants in Riviera Beach, southeast Florida.
The law banning so-called "saggy pants" was approved by city voters in March after supporters of the bill collected nearly 5,000 signatures to put the measure on the ballot.
The teen would have received a 150 dollars fine or community service, but he spent the night in jail due to a history of marijuana use, the Palm Beach Post newspaper said.
"Somebody help me," said Palm Beach Circuit Judge Paul Moyle, before giving his decision.
"We're not talking about exposure of buttocks. No! We're talking about someone who has on pants whose underwear are apparently visible to a police officer who then makes an arrest and the basis is he's then held overnight, no bond."
"Your honor, we now have the fashion police," added public defender Carol Bickerstaff, who asked the law be declared "unconstitutional."
The judge agreed with Bickerstaff immediately, reported the Post.
Laws that ban low-slung pants are on the books in several US cities, including Delcambre, Louisiana, where offenders can be fined up to 500 dollars or jailed for up to six months.
Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia are among the larger US cities considering similar measures.

Though I think the young brothers do need to pull their pants up I would hope black folk wouldn't be so naive to realize this is but another tactic to target young black males by police. You shouldn't be detained because of your clothes unless you are showing flesh. If that's the case Homeless people should be rounded up daily.

As much as I hate sagging pants I think it is so stupid to pass laws telling folks they can't wear them. I guarantee they aren't arresting the plumber, car mechanic or random dude walking down the street with his butt crack showing. Shoot I'm tired of going to some areas and seeing butt cheeks hanging out because they've put on the littlest pair of shorts they could find at Pac Sun but thinking there should be a law against it is just extra. Beside Black folks are not the only ones sagging pants these days but I bet they won't arrest Tucker for sagging his skinny Abercrombie and Fitch jeans.
bunch of losers

This is a good call. Once you start this, where does it stop? I don't want to see your thong/plumber's crack in low rise jeans or muffin tops either. Do we outlaw those? Had to call the police a few months ago and it took 28 minutes for them to respond because they are spread thin. Get that response time down below 5 minutes and then we can talk about this kind of frivolous ish.

Law enforcement nor the judicial system need to be involved though.

They got there and said that the lady "called it in wrong." I guess she called it in wrong the other 2 times I called that night after no one was showing up.
