So am I...just because I'm tired of the election coverage. I hate American politics and how everyone tries to spin every little thing. Elections are never about the issues...its about who can make the other guy look the worst.

Clearly this was his attempt to defend Hillary, to let it be known that basically if Obama had picked her as his running mate, she would do just as good a job as him and just as qualified. Did he take making the point a little to far? Probably so, but come on, in b0dy with common sense and basic reading comprehension should be able to understand what he was trying to do.
I'm with Cold. That is why the most presidential campaign coverage I get is from off here and whatever snippets I see while changing channels, because the media gets on my LAST nerve with the crap they do.

He was being deferential as a way to show how he respects her abilities. The media wants to spin it like he is having doubts, that is not the case.
