I am issuing a challenge to all of my fellow OOA'ers. Everyone set up a profile on www.mybarackobama.com and find out where your local offices are and also find out what events are happening locally.

I am sure everyone can donate a couple of hours a week. You can go door to door, make phone calls, and help with voter registration.

This will be the official Obama campaign volunteer thread. Everyone check back in with what you have done to help get Obama elected.

Lets keep this going until after the election...

I know all of you are on other listserves as well, issue this challenge on there as well. The last 2 elections have been decided by a very small amount of votes. We know that the republicans are going to go out of their way to suppress votes, so we have to get out the vote.

I signed up a couple of months ago, and its a GREAT tool. I get daily e-mail about whats going on in the campaign, and alerts about the events in my area.

already did it some months ago. I donate money regularly and I've broken the "taboo" of not bringing up politics at work by urging folks to vote and pushing the O/bidden ticket. I don't care anymore. This election is simply to critical NOT to do everything I can, whenever I can.

I am doing some canvassing on Saturday. I also signed up to do the phone bank from home. Finally, there's a section where you can get a list of undecided neighbors and go talk to them--I'm going to do that in the coming days.
