So is the mirror for me H2O? I asked a simple question. I look at myself in the mirror daily and while there are some things that can use changing I pray and trust God to work with me and change them in his time. I also pray for wisdom which I think is lacking when you back wackos like Palin and McCain. I'm all up for discussion of facts and views but each time I try you all want to get cute with the pics, one liners and such and dodge simple questions which leads me to believe that you are blindly following or incapable of articulating your support. A simple yes or no would have sufficed though.

They are trying to keep this tramp out of the media spotlight, because deep down they know...beyond her attempts to dog Obama the other night, this girl is as empty as a 10 year old Maybelline compact!
You know she's STILL being investigated up there, and as long as she sits hiding out in the land that time forgot, they think that the media won't get to her. Well, CNN Is already up there! H2O Pushing aside from my dizzy broad comment which in the spirit of things is problem wrong.....answer the question. And if you want to go there lets look at her speach in contrast to Obamas. Not only did she dismiss, belittle and disparage him she lied about his record. So what say you to that. You don't have to agree with Obama but geez you have to admit he stuck to the issues and didn't make it personal. It was all personal and fluff from the republicans.
So I ask again...other than her being pro life and pro guns what do you know about her. I know what I've researched and some of it makes me nervous and other things I found out I have to give her props. Overall I can't say she is the best candidate for VP or to take over the presidency if McCain has to step down or dies.

SAdly only in america will a white women with soley a bachelors who attended 6 colleges in 5 years, was a mayor of a town of 1100, was on a city council and a governor for less than 2 years is deamed more qualified than a black man who graduated from columbia and harvard law school, was a state senator in illinois, a civil rights lawyer, a community organizer and now a US senator for 4 years.
I injected race because that is the only reason he is seen as less qualified than her or McCain who was 894 out of a class of 899 cadets at the naval academy. If you put their resumes up against each other with no names and no pics who do you think would win out as the most attractive candidate? I have my ideas. How about you? :smh:

My crazy ass step dad is so profound...
He's prior Army, and of course, I'm Air Force.
We were having a conversation on this whole McCain POW issue and how judging from his speeches, this is ALL McCain brings to the table (as that's all he talks about, and that's all people talk about when they refer to him).
So anyway, we were talking about the pride associate with being POW MIA. How the military places so much honor in people that carry that title. How you are a decorated serviceman because of the sacrifices you made in order to be considered POW MIA.
Throughout basic training, they ram "Love your country" and "sacrifice for your country" down your throat until you start to believe your blood is Air Force Blue, Army Green, or what ever color corresponds with your military affiliation. By the time they are done, you're so gung-ho about dying for your country that some dumb asses actually get service related tattoos ( I know a dude that still has the Air Force logo tattooed to his back... Yeah, so right after he got it, they changed the logo. He eventually got out and is not proudly marching in every gay pride parade around)
So anyway, after I went through that whole rant about loving my country, dying for my country, sacrificing for my country etc,
My step dad asked: "You you get paid more because of it?"
Me: "Huh?"
Step dad: "If you are POW MIA, will you see the difference in your paycheck?"
Me: (looking stupidly) "No."
Step dad: "Exactly... Go be dumb with those with them white boys if you want..."
DON'T DRINK THE Kool-Aid!!!

You're right, McCain's only claim to fame is that he fought in the services and became a POW. My parents said he stated one time that he has experience and expertise in war, then they followed up and said he got experience in getting caught, lol!

Just because she is against abortion does not mean that her heart or her conduct is right. Based on the fact that she could get on that stage the other night and lie right into the camera with such ease, tells me that her fruit is bitter. Here are just a few of the documented lies she told: 1. She said she was against the bridge to nowhere when she is on tape supporting it, until there was so much negative press. She still kept the federal money and is now building a road to where the bridge to nowhere was supposed to be. All of this is documented 2. She said she was against frivolous spending, she is a reformer that has cut the fat from the budget. The fact is that she got 27 million dollars in federal money for her small town of 9000, as mayor. As governor, I am not sure of the exact amount, but Alaska has more federal money than any other state per capita. The above lies are proven and documented, then there is that whole, messy troopergate business that she is stalling the investigation of. But she is the one who can bring reform to the federal government, curb frivolous spending, make politicians more transparent, and do away with the influence of lobbyists? Yeah, right. She also got up there and said awful things about Obama, when just the day before he told the press to back off and leave her family alone. If you think that she is a woman of God, then it is no wonder people have so much trouble taking Christians seriously. |
