As a novice community organizer I was highly offended by that comment.

That li'l smart remark by the trailer tramp came back to haunt her and her short-armed running mate!
Obama received donations of more than 9 million dollars after Miss Moose Lodge's digs the other night!

I am stunned every time they show that clip. I am deeply offended at the McCain camp (Palin as the forerunner), when they try to make a mockery out of Sen. Obama's good deeds in his community. Does she realize that alot of "Community Organizers" has went on to become Mayors of their city? What did she do before she became Mayor? Did she just wake up one day and decide she wants to be Mayor....I don't think so. She HAD to put in work somewhere, somehow to attach her name and service to her Community. Does "help thy neighbor" mean anything to this woman. How dare she turn helping the poor, the needy, the homeless and the helpless into a three ring circus....Hell ya I'm mad because this is what my organization do. We HELP!!! I will go further and say this is what the D9 orgs. do as well. White orgs to. Service to our Community. If someone ones to discredit that or devalue that then I would question their hearts and beliefs.
She sounds like someone who is brainwashed. I am 100% convinced that the McCain camp has brainwashed this chick. She totally disrespected Sen. Obama and every body else who is putting in work for their communities. Furthermore, and I promise you I don't mean to offend the ladies on this board....but does she also not realize that for her to even be in the position she's in, meaning womens voting rights, somewhere someone had to say...hey, women want/need voting rights to? That thought, that idea came from a Community organizer/leader.

She's not brainwashed! She had alot of those extreme mindsets before McCain threw a rock at her to tap her (since he can't do it himself) to be his running mate.
She has a lot of scary extremist views, and remember what I told y'all Katrina Vanden Huevel said about this chick (and that whole barrage of attacks by the white right) at their convention this week. They are trying to use codewords (community activist = INNER CITIES, i.e. BLACK FOLKS,) to rally the "west virginians," and "Jed, and all his kin."

No that just goes to show the Repub mindset.. they REALLY dont comprehend the thought of helping those who are in need. Its almost mindboogling that "Polly Pocket" didn't have more tact to know that might not be the best jab...

See, their mindset is that black folks in urban areas are all on welfare and smoking crack. That's why Ms. Vanden Huevel says don't be fooled by that hay-ride fall festival queen.

She has to be getting spoon fed her information. I don't understand why this lady would immediately start attacking Sen. Obama as soon as her mic was on. He stepped up for her though in her defense on her behalf and I don't think she realizes. There was a question ask to Sen. Obama reguarding Palin and her daughter's preggers, he immediately shut that that reporter down and straight told them, families (especially children) should be kept out of this arena. This all happen Before she spoke at the RNC. See right then, she shouldn't rethinked her views on Sen. Obama. But, when you are kept out of the limelight, and the media you tend to Just read what's on your paper.

But you know what? Before she provoke the Big Dogs to come off the porch and into the yard, she really need to get her weight up. It's on now!!! I don't think the Sen. Obama camp will hold back. They won't bite there tongue because she's a women. They will tactfully rip her arse to shreds without being chauvinistic.

I guess the real reason why I am not feeling her. As a former Community Organizer I really take offense to the fact that you can't be a leader in that position. Those folks are in the community on a daily basis helping with everything from tenant / landlord issuse, block beautification, adovacy and referrals to other programs. To me if you want to really get your finger on the pulse of a particular neighborhood you HAVE to deal with them. Just think you can't say much about Community Org. if the person you're running against got his start by doing that.
