I saw that on CNN, I figured that would make it to Youtube. I don't like Tucker Bounds, but even I felt bad for him.

Yeah definitely it was a gotcha moment. Trickination, however, even after that, he continued to spout that she was MORE experienced than Obama.
I understand that your mind can draw a blank, but it's painfully obvious that you're making up talking points that you haven't garnered support statements for as a McCain camp spokesperson.

Here is part of an email from a very good friend of mine, who happens to be republican. I started it off by asking "So what does Palin bring to the table", he went on to say...and i quote.
Interesting to me...i'm waiting on responses to the bold part.

Interesting to me...i'm waiting on responses to the bold part. LOL- the Republicans are in FULL spin mode. By their logic - Palin is the most experienced candidate out of ALL FOUR OF THEM... because hey - whether it was less than 2 seconds or less than 2 years - she's STILL the only one with executive experience right? LOL.
I think the video showed it best. No one can NAME her experiences that are pertinent to this position in specific. That is understandable since they largely don't exist.

I saw this happen live. I cringed and shook my head. I actually felt bad for the campaign.
Democrats gave away the election in 2004. Republicans may be walking down the same path in 2008.

Even a simple question can trip you up if you truly don't know the answer.
He didn't handle that one well. He should of said that the campaign would be detailing some of the specifics of her experience at later time and so he was going to hold off on making comments about that for right now.

lol....I saw this and IMMEDIATELY thought of the guy Chris Mathews ROASTED a few months back! lol....Tucker needs to be thankfull that it was Campbell Brown asking the questions and not a tougher interviewer.
BTW, did anyone see Larry King live last night? Anyone catch when the rethuglicant congresswoman tried to use, unjustifiably I might add, the sexism card on James Carvell??

She might actually be smarter than Dan Quayle...lol. Smarter - almost certainly, but still less qualified than even him. *SMH* He was in Congress for at least 11 years before Bush asked him to be Vice President.

Please let them know that THAT is how we do things in America - big, with lots of glitz, glamour, flashbulbs poppin and fireworks going off. They act like they've never watched the superbowl or world series.....

Oh be prepared to watch the repubs talk about how considerate they were regarding the hurricane, how they took a more conservative and scaled down approach to the convention...verus the DNC selfish act of: self indulgence, party, celebrity, glitz, glamor. I am ready to hear the repubs run that apporach into the ground.

Thank You Kingdelta!!!! I have always said this and believe this. No one has "Presidential" experience. What is Presidential experience anyway? Furthermore, the only way a candidate/Nominee would have that kind of experience is if he/she would have served more than one term in office. I'm sorry but Senators/Nominees don't receive OJT (On Job Training) for the Oval Office. So NOBODY has experience for that Seat.
If the Rep. want to throw this experience term around....Jesse Jackson has more experience than Gov. Palin and Pres. Bush. He has actually engaged in peace talks to freer our POW's and was successful. He has actually went over to the Middle Eastern countries to "talk" about peace. He's been to Sudan and others countries in Africa. Our current Pres. has messed himself up so bad that he isn't even welcome in some parts of this world......lol

McCain packed up his toys and wouldn't talk to CNN because of that clip. He can't even show up to stand up for his staff or his own decisions...
What the hell? He bypassed a major opportunity for publicity and to reach the country, and he chose not to, because his boy couldn't answer the question right...
I guess he was scared he couldn't answer the question either.
Now CNN is just replaying the clip over and over...

That is exactly what we want in a president, someone who takes his toys and goes home when people don't want to play the game his way. He wanted to send his folks out to regurgitate their talking points without challenge. I admit the mainstream media has been lacking in their journalistic duties, but every now and then even they are going to want you to answer a direct question.

Wow! He had nothing to say. He just talked in circles and never answered the question but tried to compare her to being more experienced than Obama, but could't explain how. LOL. How sad. Just admit she doesn't have experience and keep it moving.

The repubbas are trying to spin this immensely UNQUALIFIED woman so badly, that they can't remember their names.
Someone said...it's like all the republicans got up Sunday morning, had a big meeting where they were told "when you go on the tv news shows and they ask about.....what's her name...just tell them "she has more experience than Obama."
I guess they figured it would at least look unified if they all looked to be the same fool, as opposed to alot of different ones.
