Anyone affected??? If so, I hope you are somewhere safe... I am watching the local news....we got over 2000 people from New Orleans tonight coming off flights and trains...all of our hotels are booked.
I am also watching cnn....I am hearing its pretty serious...

I saw Gustav on the news, also. I wasn't aware that it was so serious until last night. Right now, it is expected to be a category 4 or 5 storm when it makes landfall in the U.S.
I am glad that people are being proactive and are evacuating early.
My prayers go out to all those in the Gulf Coast that might be affected.

Gustav appears to be milder than they thought at first. Thank God for that, it doesn't seem like there will be much damage. It is a category 2...

What kind of name is Gustav? They come up with the craziest names for storms. At any rate, I'm glad it's calming down.
