i kinda think that position is more helpful than harmful. if she's dissin' it, then taking it, it suggests that she will attempt to make a change. i thought the same thing..."its the VP...the VP does nothing..." but if she is VP, she will have no choice but to be involved, active and learn the ropes..and quickly since who knows when McCain will be pushing up daisies.

Ya girl has already gave the Dems something to get at the Replicans with. When CNN was covering the story, ya girl said "when I got off the phone the first thing I thought was 'what exactly does the VP do?" I don't know if anyone really knows what that job entails anyway." I swear I could see the Dems chomping at the bit. Whoever was in charge of prepping her did a poor ass job.

But then on the other hand it shows her complete lack of knowledge of how the federal government is run. Did she take a civics class in high school? This also proves that she did not put any thought into the level of responsibility that the job entails.
