NEW YORK (AP) - Barack Obama's acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention was seen by more than 38 million people. Nielsen Media Research said more people watched Obama speak than watched the Olympics opening ceremony in Beijing, the final "American Idol" or the Academy Awards this year. Obama talked before a live audience of 80,000 people in Denver. tvdecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/08/29/conventions-38-million-view-obamas-speech/Anybody in their right mind think that THAT many people are going to be watching McCain? Go Barack Go!!!!

McCain is having problems filling up the arena where he is giving his speech. I think it seats 10,000. He will be lucky to get 84,000 (the number of people at Invesco) to watch him on TV.

If Palin had been in office for 7 or 8 years maybe we overlook the experience gap... but less than 2 years as a governor of a state that operates MUCH differently than the Lower 48?
You can't possibly spin this as a pick to create leadership - or really even change - because Alaska is JUST NOT like the rest of the U.S. Because of the oil industry in Alaska, there are things you can implement there that you SIMPLY cannot implement across the U.S.
They're going to say she is about "change"... cause that's all they can say. But it's a gimmick pick.
Notice how when Barack talked about change everyone criticized it. Now what is everyone talking about? CHANGE.
