She's from Washington State.
Her bio has been circulated on another listserve that I am a part of, along with her place of employment and email address. Soon, she will either REALLY hate Obama, courtesy of his supporters, or she will be so ashamed that she will get out and campaign really hard for him.

I don't mean to make light of this sista's "situation," but her dramatic display is exactly what irks me with the Hillary gang!
They have allowed their emotions for Hillary to dictate to them, rather than actually looking at the policies of the candidates and making an attempt to actually analyze what each will do if elected to the office of president.
With so many women like this, to her, it's all some kind of women's lib, Gloria Steinem kinda revelation. If she'd had taken as much time to actually think that Obama's and Clinton's policies were 95% mirror images of one another, and if she REALLY cared about what might befall this nation, she wouldn't have put on such an emotional show for the camera.
Now, as I've said about CNN....they have done MORE than anyone to promote the whole Obama/Clinton ticket, and then to feature a disraught Clinton delegate even after Clinton herself called for unity is really over the top.
If this BLACK WOMAN is crazy enough to think that she will either help Hillary or hurt Obama by staying home on election day, I'm not sure I want folks like her out at the polls to begin with!

Soon, she will either REALLY hate Obama, courtesy of his supporters, or she will be so ashamed that she will get out and campaign really hard for him. Yikes at the e-mail address and place of employment being known. I don't think she (or anyone else) implicitly volunteers for that kind of information broadcast by having an opinion or giving an interview (national or not). Despite my continued stance that her position is magnificently unjustifiable and pointless - I'm feeling some kind of way about her private sphere being slip-streamed into a public debate and scrutiny. That doesn't sit right with me at all on first blush. Maybe if I think about it for awhile I'll see something I missed but for right now - I'm not getting a "warm and fuzzy" from this.
While I still maintain that she had MORE than enough time to reconcile with this coming reality, maybe the convention really was one of the stages of grief (I'm guessing depression). And if that's so - it's good because the only stage left after that is acceptance. I think we have already seen denial (refusal to believe that Hillary lost), anger (res ipsa loquitur), and bargaining (Hillary for VP). So depression is next - and eventually accpetance. I just hope it translates into votes for Barack. Cause techincally speaking they can come to terms with Hillary being out without embracing Barack

Unfortunately this is scary typical of Hillary Clinton supporters. She came in second get over it and move on. HC is trying to and it was her that lost. If she can put on a good face for the public then so should all her supporters. I wasn't like Obama did anything to her, the public had their chance and voted for him not her. Story over.
Let's move along people there is nothing to see here!

There is one line in there (and I'm paraphrasing) where she basically says... "and now we're just supposed to switch?"
And that's where the disconnect comes for me. When the candidate you supported has a platform that is 95% like the candidate who won - if you supported the PLATFORM - then YES - you are just supposed to switch. There's nothing to think about. No case that needs to be made. Can you imagine the lunacy of suggesting that, since Dr. King was assassinated, that the new/remaining leader(s) would need to convince black people to support Civil Rights? Would that make any sense?
If you were never behind her platform - therein lies some of your problem right there. I don't mind that some women voted for Hillary just because she's a woman. Every demographic votes for people who are also in their demographic JUST because of their demographic
Just don't take us through long winding teary eyed distorted accounts of reality - where you claim that what mattered to you were the issues. How can we ever believe that when the candidate that is now CHAMPION for those issues is one who you (against all notions of common sense) say must convince you to vote for him. Don't put the onus on him to bridge a gap when you never had (then or now) any intentions of crossing to the other side. That's ridiculous.
