if you havent heard about this date yet...trust me you will in the comming years heres some info on it: www.history.com/shows.do?action=detail&episodeId=280250en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_(film)www.december212012.com/short summary: the myan calender for years has been praised for its accuracy in lunar cycles...it has predicted lunar cycles thousands of years in advance...but now according to the calender...its all supposed to end in the year 2012 there have been varrious "phrophets" (nostrodmus, merlin, and others) that have predicted a major shift or end of a time durring this date ill give my stance on this...but what is yours? DISCUSS! |

I have heard about this on TV, etc. It is interesting, however, only GOD knows when the end will be. Now it is possible that some big change will come in 2012...who knows.

I think its BS. All those supposed prophets have been proven wrong countless times. They are not accurate and according to the word of God a True prophet is right 100% of the time. Those clowns are not thus I put little to no stock in it.

People have been giving dates like this for years. Only GOD knows. I echo this and add: If man knows when the earth/civilization will END then God would not be GOD. If God wanted US to know a date and time then HE would of told us. No man neither now nor then knows or knew "When" so how come we "know" now? We think that since we are all "technologied up" then we got the "tools" to "know" when. That's why HE is the Oneness of God, The All Knowing God, He don't need no tools, no machine, no report, nor anybody's history. The old folks say....."God don't need no help" |

We should but don't necessarily live each day like it's our last. I don't know whether the predictions are true but my take is "so what"? if God has truly chosen that date, NOTHING will change the outcome. If it's false (like the Y2K build up), it doesn't change the fact that someday Revelations will come true. Either way, I agree with you, it's out of our hands.

lol This would be cool if the Gregorian Calendar was accurate but its not.
Think of it this way. If I said 1 thousand years from now my time the world will end how can you time it with your watch which has been incorrect from the beginning?
