So fellas. Do you all buy into Lebron being the best player or do you think Kobe is. I think its Kobe hands down but some folks have drunk the King James Kool Aid. LOL

I think Kobe is more complete right now. But I think Lebron has a higher upside, based on where he is, skill-wise. Both are great, but they are different, and bring different things to the table. What amazes me is how Lebron just runs over people like they're kids. and his jumpshot has improved greatly.
Speaking of the Cavs, did you see Donyell Marshall enter the game last night wearing his shorts and a wife-beater? This dude forgot his jersey, and Lebron was on the bench laughing his ass off

Well There is one thing that seperates them in my eyes. Defense. Lebron can't guard his shadow. LOL I was at game 6 of the Wizards/Cavs playoff game in DC 2 years ago in the 6th row and saw up close that his dude doesn't slide his feet. I watch him now and not much has changed. LOL
Are you serious. Thats a damn shame. I guess that shows you that this dude didn't expect to play.

he had been out since november.
what really happened is that it got stuck inside his warm-up top, and he just snatched it (the warm up) off and ran to the table. This dude was halfway out on the court and everything. The whole bench was cracking up. And, the team got a delay of game too, lol

That is hilarious. And to think he was a lottery pick.

After looking at the thread....I've come to a conclusion: Only in America can Kwame Brown..Kwame "motherfucking" Brown get traded for Paul Gasol.
Come on now, we talking about Kwame Brown...did you hear what i said?? Kwame Brown. We aint talk bout Andrew Bynum....we talk about Kwame Brown. Only in America...
But at the end of the end, it's a great day to be a Mets Fan. ;D

It's a tough choice. It's like comparing Bird to Magic. Kobe is one of the purer scorers of ALL TIME, and can play (at times) hellacious defense. 'Bron is a much better all around player(passing, scoring, ballhandling). Both have a high hoop IQ. Both have a high skill set. The difference is that Kobe WANTS to kill you. He wants to be the man. Never saw that from Lebron until the Detroit series. But, he's young. Right now? Gotta go with Kobe, but with the slimmest of margins. So fellas. Do you all buy into Lebron being the best player or do you think Kobe is. I think its Kobe hands down but some folks have drunk the King James Kool Aid. LOL

Thats what the common perception is, but watch both Kobe and Lebron play, especially against each other. Lebron has been making key defensive plays in the 4th quarter all year long. He's been doing a great job of locking up his man and forcing tough shots. Kobe has been free-lancing on defense for a couple of years now. He rarely plays his man...he gambles too much and plays the passing lanes. Phil Jackson even said that Kobe was causing the Lakers some defensive problems because he gambles too much. Always going for the steal. Kobe's defense isn't far above Lebron's anymore. Lebron is already a far superior passer and rebounder, and he's even scoring more than Kobe this year. I don't see the basis to call Kobe the better player right now.
