This man's campaign falls deeper into the abyss each day. And as his campaign seems to implode, the senator from Illinois looks more and more like THE PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES as he talks and interfaces with leaders in the Middle East. Do you wonder that if 'ol John had it to do over again, that he'd bait Obama into taking that trip? Someone in his campaign crew should have had the foresight to warn him that this might happen. And to top all that off, he's now "whiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnniiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggg" to the media that "they won't come see 'bout him," and spends all their time on Obama. What's that about being careful what you ask for, 'cause you just might get it? Well, I think it's safe to say...he's gettin' it....and it's hard and dry!!!

Yet Gen. Wesley Clark was villified for saying that being a POW in Vietnam DID NOT qualify McCain as being a foreign policy expert.

Bottom line...Senator Barack Obama is making a "plum" fool of John McCain, and amazingly, he's doing it like he does everything else...with style, grace and intellect.
Ooooh, I can't wait for the debates! You will McCain LOSE IT in those debates!

Well I know alot of people are sold on Obama but........ I have an issue with him hanging Rev. Wright out to dry and I don't know if he or the country is really ready for a Black Pres. I don't agree with voting for him because he is black but he has to be able to really stand for the Change is platform is founded on.

I wouldn't say he hung Rev. Wright out to dry.
It's well known that Rev. Wright was someone who'd had great influence on his spiritual growth, and he always acknowledged that. Having to distance himself and his campaign from him was not an easy choice to make.
But...
let's get real here! Rev. Wright knew that his "sermon" that was looped on YouTube and played 200 times a day by FOX and CNN for a whole month had set this nation on it's ear, and drew criticism toward Obama for his association with him. Why is it that Rev. Wright could not see that his yearning for more the spotlight (via his "performance" at the National Press Club Luncheon) would not re-ignite the whole controversy he stirred before? Somewhere, the good reverend should have practiced some common sense in regard to how his actions would effect someone who looked up to him.
I've always said the many preachers (especially BLACK preachers) are some of the biggest egomaniacs in the country. Rev. Wright let his ego get the best of him, and unfortunately, a friendship and mentorship were severed because of it.

Question is was Rev. Wright telling the truth in his sermons? Having listened to some of the sermons fully, what he said has been said many times before but maybe in a less hell-fire and brimstone type way. I know how politics work, that is why I try not to get tangled in that web but for me that is an issue. Not saying it should be for anyone else. Obama needs to come with it and stop soft shoeing around alot of issues and topics. I understand not wanting to paint yourself into a corner but come on. At least GW made a call and like the call or not he rode it out. As stated earlier, I am not one to just cast a vote for Obama just because he is black. I like some of his points but......McCain is far worse so.....

I just heard on Talk Radio that McCain is trying to sweet talk Powell into taking the number two spot.
<<Wonders if Powell is taking this really seriously

Thinks Powell should jump ship and roll with obama. LOL Actually not because his ties with Bush would be a deteriment. If he'd just have stayed away from Bush he would be an asset.
