"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further," Murphy and Edmonds tell PEOPLE in an exclusive statement. "While the recent symbolic union in Bora Bora was representative of our deep love, friendship and respect that we have for one another on a spiritual level, we have decided to remain friends.” The couple exchanged vows in a sunset ceremony on New Year's Day on a private island off Bora Bora in French Polynesia. But, according to a source, the honeymoon got off to a rocky start. "Eddie started yelling at Tracey in front of people," says one of Edmonds's wedding guests. "He did it on a few occasions and it was very embarrassing." Since the couple's nuptials took place in a foreign country, the wedding was purely ceremonial – not legal. Murphy, 46, and Edmonds, 40, originally said they planned to have a legal ceremony in the United States, but that is now off. Murphy and Edmonds started dating in the fall of 2006 and got engaged last July.

Naw. I never got it in the first place. Tracey claimed that she and Babyface were seperated for over 3 years, but are friends and then she gets with Mr. Questionable sexuality and he has a baby that he did not claim on her, and then gets randomly married. I was like what tha...?

Yeah when Brandy did the spiritual marriage you gave her a pass because she was young and dumb but she is old enough to know better. I think she is a social climber to be honest.

Believe it or not Eddie still has connect. He has clout enough to greenlight project how to you think Norbit got made and put in theaters. I mean think about it. He has made a lot of films that did well. Trading places, 48 hours, Beverly Hills cop movies, shrek, etc. He is one of few that can get stuff done which she new. He was an easy target...he needs a cover for his tranny sexcapades and she needs his contacts. I mean she was probably getting it on the side from Bob Johnson(who is helping to finance her new venture) and who knows else. It was a situation of convenience.

However, its very likely. Yeah you got a point about Eddie getting things done in Hollywood, however I think it was more of a cover for Eddie than her gaining contacts. If she is hooking up with Bob Johnson, then I could seriously see that being a situaion of "trying to get to the top". |

Man Bob is old school...he knows how to get him a taste of a young tenderoni in exchange for helping her start the production company. Well I figured Eddie wasn't hitting it exclusively so she was free to do what she wanted.
