I think Obama stayed on message pretty well and really put to bed the notion that because he may KNOW someone does not equate to sharing the same views as that person. And I have to commend George for boxing her in and asking her "a simple yes or no, is Obama electable?" lol....it took a minute but she knew she had to say yes.... No doubt. Although Obama performs well under pressure, there was a few moments here and there where he did seem irritated. But as always, he stays sharp and prepared. When Hillary tried to criticize him about his association with the former radical from that weather underground group..his INSTANT comeback that her own husband pardoned two of the groups former members himself was pure gold. So although he was a tad defensive tonight and didnt have his normal, calm demeanor the whole way through..I still think he did well. One thing that irked me though was that while the moderators seemed to be going at Obama's neck last night, they didnt really go IN on Hillary. They kind of let her off easy on some things..like the Bosnia comment. Imagine if that was Tim Russert from Meet the Press on msnbc as a moderator. He would have grilled her something fierce on that. But lets hope this is the last debate..because if it's not a rehash of issues weve heard them speak on extensively for 15 months, it will be the moderators nitpicking on any "news of the week" that was uncovered and sheds negative light on them. It's pretty late in the game....time to wrap this thing up and get ready to go toe to toe with the War hero.

I agree that they really didn't get DEEP off into some of the issues and spent the first 45 minutes rehashing crap we've heard over and over again....

Reportedly, the conflict stemmed from descrepencies in Nupe's 2007 tax return, which the young man completed for Nupe in January.

From my angle.... Obama looked and sounded horribly when asked about the affirmative action question. He tried to walk a fine line...it didn't work. Outside of that, I thought the man came across very presidential-like, particularly on issues regarding the war and the economy... How ironic was it when Obama was asked about how unfair his comments on small town folks in Pennsylvania and "running to their guns"...and 45 minutes later, the commentator brings up the gun issue and how "important the gun issue is to the people here in Pennsylvania"... I wish George Stephanoupolos would craw back under the rock he came from.... I though Hillary did well last night....just being fair.

You right Big Pun....Hillary did do well last night and she too, knows how to handle herself. She gets a lot of hate, and even though Obama is my choice and has my vote........Im not naive enough to think that all three are squeaky clean. As imperfect people, they all have faults. As politicians, if you dig deep enough your going to find some dirt here and there. But about last night, I dont think it Was Obama's best debate performance, but it was nothing that will do him any damage.

To paraphrase what the caller just said on Micheal Baisden's show, whenever Obama is asked why he didn't leave his church, he should reply that hundreds of boys were molested by Catholic priests (and the Pope has yet to officially apologize) and no one is leaving the Catholic faith. I like that train of thought.

This was Hillary's type of debate.
They also gave her a pass on the lie.
I agree with EPUN on the AA question. He danced and it made him sound kinda sneaky but I can't figure a better answer for the Penn voters.
