Yep...most people aren't bothered by capital gains tax which is usually at about 35% Does it suck? Yeah, but MOST people who are against the CapG tax are those who make most of their money from it.

How y'all post and type at the same time?  My attn. span is the size of a gnat's. Anyway, Hillary was WIDE OPEN, slinging anything she could find. But her explanation on her bold-faced LIE about Bosnia was flimsy as hell.  She said she had WRITTEN it correctly in the past, but the account she told wasn't in line with what really happened. Either you just plain LIED, or you have a really bad memory and you don't need to be president if you have dementia like that. I wanted him to bring the pain on that a little bit--but he took the high road. I like his plan for affirmative action. |

Here is my analysis...
I think that journalists have been dumbed down. I think they have spent too much time on Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. They have lost the ability; or in some cases never had the ability to cover real news. This debate did not cover anything new, really. They spent too much too much time on Bosnia, Wright and flag pins...been there, done that already. I would have loved to hear more on Iraq, gas prices, the mortgage crisis, etc.
I was dissapointed in the moderators. There are some people out here who could care less if Obama wears a flag pin or not. One thing I realize is that the media determines what is news. If they would stop talking about the petty mess and start discussing real issues, then the candidates would have to devote time to that, and not explaining ad nauseum what they mean by bitter folks in small towns.

And I have to commend George for boxing her in and asking her "a simple yes or no, is Obama electable?" lol....it took a minute but she knew she had to say yes....
