We've been discussing this in several posts. I was ABOUT to respond, but since it's been getting a lot of play all over the board, I figured I'd make a separate post. Many say that the Democrats don't give a fvck about us, and don't help us at all. What is the solution? Should we all start supporting the GOP? I *HONESTLY* can't see myself doing that personally, because in reading their party platform, I truthfully cannot find ONE THING that I agree with. Not a single point. Why would I vote for a candidate from a party whose views are so diametrically opposed to mine? I like the Green Party and what they stand for, and I could see supporting them in a few LOCAL races (City Council or School Board or something). But to WASTE my vote for a state or national election? Nah. Also, with all the talk about the Dems "using" us and not caring about us, I think half the time we don't DEMAND anything of them at all. Discuss.
