I'm just curious as to who has donated and who hasn't. They say the small donations ($5, $10, $20--even that $3 and a scripture I've heard him mention a couple of times) are really making a BIG difference.

^^^^^From what I understand, he and his campaign LOVE the small donations. I can make a few frequent small donations, rather than one big donation.

They have a proven fundraising strategy. It's the same one I use with the March of Dimes. Ask a lot of people for a little bit of money. That way, you can prove that you are making progress and go back.
Hillary relied on the big money folks to give large sums of loot. Well, you can only give so much money so when they were tapped Obama was going back to the well over and over.

Obama has really changed the entire political game in a lot of ways. Not really. He has re-emphasized the grass-roots portion. Its what Howard Dean tried to do in '04....... but didn't have the zeal and/or support. Lo and behold.... who is Barry O. working with..... good ol Howard Dean.... |

I have sent $100. This is the first time I have ever donated to a campaign. I also plan on volunteering at voter registration drives.
