What are your thoughts? Should he select Billary as his running mate or what?

It wouldn't hurt.....but he will definitiely have to pick a Hillary surrogate to bridge the gap and give the appearance of "making peace"; an olive branch of sorts.
if not that, he needs to pick a governer of a swing state - ohio, etc....

I have mixed feelings about that, jay.
On one hand...it would be a gesture in terms of bringing the party together and satisfying many of the Hilary kooks!
On the OTHER HAND...I think that Hil and her minions have been catered to enough with that whole farce that took place last weekend being the last straw! Besides, I'm not sure there are as many of her supporters who claim they won't vote for Obama as some want to make people think. I said all along and will continue to say...either one of them is light years better than that short-armed penguin McCain, and I think the majority of her supporters realize that.
If he wants a woman, I say pick Claire McCaskell. But I think he needs someone who is strong in international policy....a Bill Richarson, or a Sam Nunn (a dem and a southerner that might help him secure Jaw-juh in the GE.)
I sometimes suspect that Obama is being shrewd...in that he ALREADY has a vp candidate lined up, and is simply waiting to OFFICIALLY announce that he is the nominee. At that time, he'll invite his VP on stage with him. Don't be suprised if that is not the case folks.

I hope he doesn't. Sad to say, but he needs to pick a White man. I'm still hoping he picks Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland.

regardless of who he picks as VP, it's a CRITICAL decision. It could very well make or break his chances in November....

What are your thoughts? Should he select Billary as his running mate or what? Heck nah. He'd have to sleep with one eye open. That trollup cant be trusted. She already has thoughts of assassination dancing in her head. Later for her. I'd rather him choose Al Sharpton. And that's saying ALOT!

I don't think Hillary would be a good VP for Obama. If things had gone a little differently during this election season, I might think differently. She has had such a sense of entitlement to the Presidency that I don't see her as trustworthy or capable of being fully supportive of Barack in the role of VP. Let's face it, she entered this election to be President and, unlike the countless others who were willing to settle for being a running mate, I don't see that working for her. I don't know that she could "get over" her loss and pull herself together enough to really be effective in Obama's administration. And to me, some of the things that she has said/done is a lot more than dirty politics, they showed a general lack of respect for Obama. Her lips have said "regardless of who wins, we are going to unite as a party and get the job done. (paraphrased), but her actions have said otherwise. I don't trust her. JMHO.

He should not pick her as VP. Bill Clinton just made more negative statements about him yesterday.
There is a fringe group of her supporters who would probably never vote for Obama, but then there are those who think they won't support him, but when begin to really listen to his ideas, they will change their mind.

He needs a white male. I say Tom Daschle and I'm sticking with it. His VP will be a senator...jut not Billary...
She needs to go ahead and coincede. The Dems can then push for her to be Majority Leader of the Senate. Then you will have two women Pelosi and Clinton leading both Houses

My thought on Billary as VP taken fro another post:
If Clinton becomes VP...Michelle would eventually have to whip dat ass!
I could see her ass smugly showing Barack and Michelle around the White House...
NOPE...that arrangement will not work...she's not humble enough. And I be damn if Michelle will sit idly by why she tries to RUN and downtalk Barack.

What a loser. she said it when the contest was still being disputed. It's all but over now so I'm not surprised her tune has changed. Ombama has to at least offer the VP slot to her. Especially since she's publicly declared that she would be interested in the spot. Poltically, it places him in a good light to make the gesture - magnanimous, diplomatic, unifying. And to not make the offer, could be viewed as a snub and spitefull.

Obama does not HAVE to offer her the VP slot, the party helps him make the decision and honestly, in a way when she said that she would take VP, she was setting Obama up.
If he DID give her the VP-he fell into her set up If he DIDN'T give her the VP- he is made out to look bad.
With that, he's stuck between a rock and a hard place.
After all the shit she pulled off.................I wouldn't want her as VP. Plus if she's not VP all her Clintonites are bitter as fuck anyway. If they won't vote for him b/c he won FAIR AND SQUARE, who are they hurting when they vote for McCain? THEMSELVES!
