First off, this might "cut" a little, but just know that I love you all with the Love of Christ! Everybody goes crazy about the girl that was perping AKA because she was claiming to be something that she never was. Why, because she never went through the process that AKA's went through. In essence, many of us perp Christianity every day. Before you get mad at ya boy...think about it. We wear the crosses, profess the name of Christ, but at the end of the day, we're living just as holy as my Rottweiler.  We haven't gone through the process of repentance that the Bible commands. Interestingly, Paul tells us to do in 1 Corinthians 5:13 exactly the way Greeks do those who perp orgs... he says "expel the immoral person from your midst!" Meaning, if someone is claiming Christ, but openly living a God less lifestyle, EXPOSE THEM AND KICK THEM OUT OF THE FELLOWSHIP! Now how do ya'll think that would fly in today's churches? lol.. If the Pastor stood up and called out the couple that was fornicating and told them to leave because they refused to repent? Just food for thought  Again, I love you guys with the love of God! 1st John 2:4 says... "The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him;"
If we say we know Christ, but don't keep His commandments, we are liars as well.

You cant point the finger and yell foul when it's convenient when you were sitting right next to them doing foul or allowing foul to go down. JMO. |

The one thing is there is less "dissension" over who is Greek v. Perp than over who is Christian v. Non-Christian. It's easier to point to verify a greek than a Christian, especially when there are so many "false prophets"

What the difference between a perp and a member? About 1G, probable hazing, and an oath. So is the essence of greek life in a nutshell, so why add the ritual, paraphrenalia, etc. The NAACP is cheaper, no oath, no hazing, and no stupid arguing over who was founded first, steps the baddest, BUT the one thing that is truly shared is their support of foul behavior in the black community.
We'll see how many of her SORORS will have her back. I do believe she should repent to God for her deception, but the TRUE problem is much deeper. The root behind it can be found in many places; a wide gate and a broad way...........................

How can you tell someone else how they can repent to God?
Everyone else relationship with Him is different. I doubt ANYBODY does things EXACTLY the way it is in the Bible.
But whatever...............I'm just a lowly Chirstian...........what do I know?

For example, my "repenting" for smoking weed (years ago  ) came not in my confession to God that I was sorry, but in my throwing away my weed stash. How one can try their best to humilate, castigate, and discriminate in the name of the Lord is beyond anything I can imagine (yea, I channelled Jessie for a second...lol)....If werent a Christian, I'd look at some folks and say, "this is EXACTLY why Im not Christian"...and that is sad. It shouldnt be that way. In one breath condemn "fake" Christians for not being "true" followers of Christ but do so in a manner that Christ NEVER did nor WOULD do. They actually try to incite the "fake" Christians....get the "fake" Christians angry and then when the "fake" Christians have a HUMAN reaction their insults and abuse the "real" Christians shout, "See? You aint a real Christian. In the name of the Lord!" Then you have "greeks" proud to be "greek" but in the next sentence cosigning with the "real" Christians on how horrible greekdom is. Im sorry but I just cant take it seriously. Why am I the only one who can see how screwed up this is? Jesus was about about Love. God is a God of Truth and Peace...where is the peace? There is NEVER any peace in this thread...satan is the master of confusion and deception and that is what I almost ALWAYS see (and feel) when I peek in this thread. I just cant with some of you anymore. I just cant. Im just tired of it...it reminds me of the house n*gga, field n*gga dynamic.....and to be honest, in most cases, I cant tell the difference b/n the "real" and the "fake" when I read some of these posts. Tossing in some scripture and saying "Woosa in the name of the Lord" doesnt overshadow the ill intended content of what is being said. It's very discouraging and its just not right ...so therefore I sigh... *sigh*  |

To say who I am NOT in Him, I just laugh now. It's like how can YOU say who I am, you are not God Himself. It's really sad. But that's ok. God knows who is true and who is using His name in a bad manner. I just pray for both, in hopes that the BODY of Christ will get it together soon. |
