If you turned it off after he sung a song or two you most likely have a religious spirit and if you turned him off when he sung the last song you more than likely have the spirit of the anti christ Brown that was good those songs were probably Gospel songs first and then got twisted for whatever reason.... new years eve 2001 at 34 years of age me and Jesus Christ was Reunited and it feels so GOOD .............Yes and Amen

I wouldn't say I was offended, but I was not comfortable with it, not as worship music for the Lord. I only listened to the first little bit of it and stopped.
I understand what the preacher was saying, but those songs remind me too much of a life I don't plan to return to. They did not create (or should I say evoke) a spirit of worship or praise in me, because, when I sung along with them in times past, I was not singing about God. It's not as simple as changing the lyrics for me. That's just me. It is obviously not the same for everyone.

The positive that I saw in this video is that this is something that can and will penetrate deeply in the hearts and minds of today's youth and also to non-believers. It's something that can show them that you can praise God and still be somewhat cool. It's all in how you look at it. There are a lot of non-believers who aren't drawn to the church simply because they feel that "church folk" are to stuffy. Past experiences are rarely ever brought up so, all they know is that people in church holy rollers. I feel that a different approach has to be used to get through to those individuals and this is something that could possibly work.

I liked it. A church I attended in Birmingham used to do the same thing...and true enough, the kids LOVED it and were involved.

If the aim is to get them involved, I am sure it works.
If the aim is for them to get delivered, maybe not. JMHO.
