I am looking at CNN and trying to get a better understanding the of the primary results. Its seems as though (accroding to the media pundits) that Obama can not get the white, blue collar vote (does not appeal to the Appelechian voters) but he does appeal greatly to the Coastal white voters. WTF?? |

Thats why Obama will choose Tom Daschle as his running mate to smoove this shit over. I have been pushing the Tom Daschle angle for sometime now and quiet as kept I think he shouldve ran for president instead of John Kerry

You see all of the news pundits asking "why can't Obama get the white vote?" The problem is not him getting the white vote. What they should be asking is "why do uneducated white voters vote against their own best interests, rather than support a qualified black candidate?" The defect is not with Obama, the defect is with the 3rd grade educated, inbred, goat humping, backwoods rednecks in WV and KY.

There's a storm-a-comin'! This country is in for a serious conversation about race in America but we can't just put this on Appalachia. Kentucky and West Virginia don't have a monopoly on racist beliefs but America is trying to frame it that way.
One interesting view of this....
If (when) during this race Obama loses because of his race, all of the anti-affirmative action rhetoric will have to go out of the window. They will have smacked themselves in the face.
