I know SNL has been doing skits suggesting that Obama is getting easier questions in the debates. I personally don't see it, but maybe that is because I am for Obama. Here is the skit from last Saturday. It is hilarious. www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDDmAHsElMY

She created this Frankenstein long before the world ever knew about Obama. She has constantly played the "victim" card, claiming vast clandestine conspiracies against her to the point now that, even if it were true, no one would believe it.
Besides, she's the one that keeps touting her self as experienced and battle tested. Is this how she's going to respond to foreign affairs? The other countries are conspiring against me cause they don't like me?

Damie let me ask you this Hypothetical question. Suppose Hillary DOES win the Democratic Primary...would you then VOTE for her, Not vote at all, or Vote for McCain?

If I may also answer the question, Nupe. Should Hillary win the Democratic nomination, I would more than likely vote for her. I cannot vote for John McCain in November (all things staying the same)

But if you dont like her now, why would you like her then? Why would you VOTE for someone you dont care for? Why not just NOT vote?

Damie let me ask you this Hypothetical question. Suppose Hillary DOES win the Democratic Primary...would you then VOTE for her, Not vote at all, or Vote for McCain? If Obama is not nominated I would vote for Hillary. Fatal just asked a question that I believe is very closely connected with Hillary's biggest flaw (changing her mind), what would we do if we could go back and change things from our past. IMMEDIATE POST 911 we were all hurt, angry, wanted to get somebody we didn't verify what was being said. And being the Senator in NY at the time, I can see why she said do it. But with all things in life, we grow older, wiser, and have more understanding of whats before us....so its not just a woman's perrogative to change her mind, its anyone's. We are looking at a man in office right now who refuses to change his mind and look where that has gotten us. So I don't have a Hillary issue, she just happens to be up against a man with more appeal than her. So if he wasn't running she would have my vote.

Good point!
Also, it's hard for a senator to be president for this very reason. They have to vote on so many different things and often vote for or against something for strategic reasons that never get media attention 2-4 or 10 years later.

It would be hard, but I would do it, only because I like the other candidate slighly less at this point. Hillary winning the election could be as disaterous for the party as Bush winning the election. They will try to sabotage her, she'll retaliate, and nothing will get done.

Think about it....
Senator Nupe voted against providing school lunches for pre-K thru 3rd graders. You dirty sum-bytch!
The bill was labeled School Lunches for Pre and Early School Grades. But little do we know...the bill also had an anti-nuclear weapons proliferations rider attached. So a vote for this bill would mean a vote to restart the nuclear arms race.
That's why Senators are easy targets.

Then you will know that you had NOTHING to do with Hillary or McCain messing up the country right?

Because I have a responsibility to participate in the election process. I can defend my vote for Clinton over McCain regardless of if Clinton turns out to be a horrible president.
I know this sounds cliche' but many folks died so that we could have the right to vote. My great grandmother couldn't vote for most of her life...my grandmother for the first part of her adult life.
I can't defend not voting.

How is that spitting on it Cam? You DO have a responsibility to vote on who you THINK should be President, NOT who you think is the LESSER OF TWO EVILS...
Big Brother, I think you are sorely mistaken on what it means to have the RIGHT to vote. It doesnt mean vote for the sake of doing it, it means making a consicious, educated decision to vote for who you think is best.
If Saddam Hueissan and Fidel Castro were running (hypothetically of course), would you VOTE for one of them so that you wont "spit" on your ancestors???

That is not something that should EVER be taken for granted. Even if it means voting for the lesser of the two evils. People who don't vote don't have a voice and therefore CAN NOT complain. If Clinton wins, then I'M NOT VOTING for anyone. I'm not supporting ANY candidate that isn't who I WANT to win. Its like Being a Red Sox fan and Boston loss to the Yankees in the ALCS to play the Mets. YOU DONT CHEER for the Mets because you hate the Yankees, you just dont cheer at all.

She has been getting on my last nerve with the BS. More so because, the fact that she is a woman and that's what we are known for -complaining, emotional/crying, etc. Like Damie said, she has and is making it bad for herself *SMH*

What would your great grandfather say? What would your great great grandfather say? What would your fraternity founders say?
I know it's about you but then again, it's not. If I have a choice between Castro and Hussein I vote for Castro and then tell that bastard how I want it. LOL! When he fucks up, I get his ass out of there next time. Or better yet, I vote in the legislative races to make sure the lesser of two evils has as much or as little political power as I think he should have.
THAT is what voting is all about...POWER. You have it...it exists in that one little vote. I am passionate about this because i've heard the stories from the mouths of those who brothers or fathers were lynched because they dared to go to the polls.
This is not something to boycott. You vote or give up the right.

Its not about that. I respect my forefathers struggles for us to obtain the right to vote, but I fail to understand how that should MANDATE me to vote for one of 2 Canditates who in my opinion are not fit to run the country.
Me voting for one of them is infact giving my STAMP of approval. I'm not doing that. I'm not going to VOTE just to be voting. For what? I don't even follow McCain or Hillary, I'm just voting for WHOEVER sounds the best.

I kinda agree with Nupe and Cam. Nupe should vote... but he shouldn't vote for the lesser of two evils. If you're given a choice between David Duke and Tom Delay NEITHER ONE is acceptable. And it is not an affirmation of the sacrifices of those who came before us to vote for an entity that is the antithesis of what our forefathers fought for - merely because they were the only choices.
But that's what happens when you have no legitimate 3rd party options. All you can do then is a symbollic write in vote, and as it will likely not determine the winner - it's almost equivalent to a non-vote. But at least you did excercise your right (which I think you should do - just not against your best interests)

I agree Damie. I was referring to a situation where all things being equal and there was no third party candidate.
Write in, vote for the local goofball who makes sense but has green hair and doesn't wear anti-perspirant.
What do your founders have to do with you voting? It was actually just a reference...much like your grandfather or great grandfather. You are their legacy. You set the example for those who may come after you.

Nupey, I totally understand your point, trust me I do. But I cannot defend not voting.
But to answer the question, if Obama does NOT win, I would vote for McCain. I worked for the feds while Clinton was in office and it was not all gravy as people make it seem to be. Furthermore, I still can't get down with all of this 'inflated' experience that Hillary make it seems that she has.
Pillow talk with the governor and President does not equate experience. She has been using that, but I personally equate experience as being in a position to make decisions and have accountability. If you look at it that way, actually Obama has more experience than she does. Being a wife does not equal experience.
But I have always considered McCain a liberal republican. I don't have the time to go into all the details, but I would vote for him instead of Hillary.

Nupe, I feel what you are saying and honestly i have been contemplating not voting if Obama doesnt get the nomination nod. However, many of my good friends cant vote because they arent citizens, so i feel like I must vote. No offense to Hillary and her supporters but I'm not voting for her. I dont trust her for some reason. My gut tells me something is up with her. If push comes to shove, I will vote for McCain.

And to answer the original question, no I dont think the media is biased against Hillary. I think she creates any discrepancies she has with them herself. She is running for the highest office in this country and she has extremely heavy media scrutiny. If she is going to whine and carry on when she doesnt get her way the media will portray that in the most negative way period.thats the way the cookie crumbles. I honestly believe if Obama were carrying on the same way, the media would get at him just as much. Hillary needs to be more conscious of the image she is portraying if she wants the media to be less biased. She's just mad that she is perpetuating the stereotype of women and its out there for all the world to see. All her "experience" should have taught her better.
