I was talking about that with a friend last night...he would definitely help strengthen Obama in areas where he's weak. I am hearing more talk about Edwards being the VP choice...interesting.

I am happy for the endorsement. I just wonder why he waited so long.

Prissy, did you listen to the TJMS?? Sybil was complaining that Edwards' endorsement came too late.
I disagree, primarily because the media were blowing up Hillary's win in WV and this announcement totally took the momentum from her and gave Obama a much needed last wind through the remainder of the primaries.
Z, I'm applying for my "internship" at the White House! ;D

I disagree, too. I think it really came right on time. I was growing weary of the media propping up her WVA "win" as a big deal, anyway. It's OVER.
Z, I'm applying for my "internship" at the White House! ;DWell, you might bump into me in the hallway! ;D

Did y'all hear that? You may wonder what "that" was...well, let me tell ya...
...It was that large SUCKING sound of all the air being let out of Hildegard's big "win" in Whites Virginia, er, uh I'm sorry...WEST Virginia!
However, I have come to the realization as to why Hildy is so delusional. It's because her campaign staff and supporters, in particular Terry McCauliffe, Paul Begalia, Lanny Davis, James "crazy cajun" Carville, and that blonde woman from down in Florida are delusional as hell!
Do y'all ever hear them "spin" the MI and FL situation anytime they are on CNN, or how they keep talking about her votes among "rural" America? Somewhere in her camp, there has got to be ONE sane individual who can pull her to the side and tell her... "Hil honey, it's over!" "You fought the good fight, you've run the good race, but you have lost." "You have run out of money, and you're soon gonna have to start mixin' and matchin' your pant suits."
"It's over, dah'lin! Let's go home."

That's one thing that has become plain to me in recent years. You have GOT to surround yourself with the RIGHT PEOPLE, who have strong character and are NOT afraid to tell you the truth. It can make a WORLD of difference.

It can make a WORLD of difference. Exactly! And now that it appears that the CNN folks have finally "got it," they expound on how Obama did just that...surrounded himself with folks who knew how to strategize, campaign and most important of all....RAISE COINS!! I had to LOL at Jack Cafferty on there the other day when he was talking about how the Clinton folks were claiming to have raised a million more dollars since her win in PA. He responded with "Obama probabaly raised that much this morning while reading the paper, and having his coffee and toast." His cynicism cracks me the hell up, but he tells the plain, straight truth!! Between he and Ed Shultz out of Idaho, I don't know who's more fed up with Hildegard, but they gotta be running neck and neck!! I sure wish there was a station here where I could tune in to Ed Schultz' radio program.
