Soooooo this morning, there were already reports of "trickery" reported on the TJMS this morning and a picture of a ballot from a county in Pennsylvania was sent to Warren Ballentine. Obama's name is not on the ballot.
He is trying to get more information on the ballot now.

This should get interesting then. I hope Obama kicks Hillary's butt today.
I think she is staying in as a way to hurt Obama's chances so he loses to McCain. Then she will have her shot in 4 years to run again. If Obama wins the presidency, she will have to wait 8 years. I am normally not a conspiracy theorist, but I can't think of any other reason why she would be so determined to stay in until the convention. I noticed her campaign is renewing the talks about the Michigan and Florida votes.

She has truly, truly made me dislike her intensely. I had a lot more respect for her before this race. She is just being plain mean, selfish and spiteful.

I thought Obama had a double digit lead in Indiana. I agree with PunnyPoo! We have to remember that Indiana is in the heartland, where those comments about people clinging to religion and guns are going to reverberate until November (if he gets the nomination). All we can really hope for is losses that are 10 pts or less in PA and Indy.
I still have my fingers crossed about NC (and an Edwards endorsement).
I don't pay attention to anyone's polls. The only polls worth paying attention to are the results from the election.

I saw someone with McCain sticker on their car in the parking lot on my job. Couldn't help but call them and idiot as I passed by. LOL

I think the people with the "W 04" stickers on their cars should kill themselves. Especially if the cars are raggedy.

Acording to CNN, at more than a few precints, the voting machines were broken and the staff couldn't fix them.
The voters were told to wait for technicians to fix the machines and the wait was so long that people left and were not able to vote. There were no paper or provisional ballots to take the plae of voting machines.

Hillary's gonna pull out PA, unfortunately. But I believe Obama will pull out Indiana. I'm thinkin' that NAFTA is gonna bite hillary in the ass in the hoosier state.
*sidebar* damn.....a major primary jumpin' off and no Damie....just doesn't seem right...

hold the phone....looks like it's gonna go down to the wire in PA. And from what I've read and heard from the political pundits, Hillary needs a double digit win in PA to sell her viability to the SD's. If she does win, it looks like that may not happen.
As of this posting, about 5% of the precincts have reported and it's 53% for Hillary and 47% for Obama and it's maaaad early....

If NAFTA didn't bite Hillary in the ass in Ohio and PA with all the jobs they've lost (esp. in OH) because of it, then them mufuccas ain't gonna worry about in in IN, either.
This is old, but her argument to the SD's is gonna be "he won more states, but I won the big ones we need to win the White House in Nov." Keep in mind that she did "win" FL and she would have won MI with Obama's name on the ballot or not.

I was so upset that she pulled off a double digit win. I think there was some trickery going on. Obama needs to start hitting harder, I understand trying to raise the standard of politics, but she is not fighting fair. Like with Florida and Michigan. She was perfectly fine with their votes not counting until she started losing. Now she is so concerned about their vote. It is so transparent. Obama needs to start pointing out all of her inconsistencies.

Hell, the way this is going, I don't think either one will be able to stop McCain. Their both doing too good a job making each other look bad. I knew Hillary was going to pull Penn, but the double digits was not expected. After Obama's comments on church and guns, I thought it was somewhat possible though. He needs to stop giving her ammunition..

Obama needs to start pointing out all of her inconsistencies. I disagree... I don't think there was any trickery in yesterday's vote. We have to remember that you win some and you lose some, and in Pa., Obama was expected to lose not only by his suppoters, but by his count as well. He still put up a helluva fight, poured more money into the Pa. campaign KNOWING that he didn't have a snowballs chance in hell in winning.... To go from 33 points to 10 is amazing. Particularly in an old, white and Catholic demographic. Just amazing to me....We also have to remember that race is still an major issue that very few are speaking on, and race played a major part in yesterday's outcome. I've only heard three media personalities (Bev Smith, Warren Balantine and Joe Madison) speak in depth about consistantly about how race is still an issue here... Pa. told the country yesterday that in spite of the Clinton's long record of dirty politics and Hillary's blatant lies and campaign deception, they much rather see a white woman than a black man as president of the US.... I hope Obama continues to take the high road. I agree with a few people that I don't think he's good at political and character assisinations. He's seems uncomfortable even in debates when he's forced to address Hillary's behavior. Plus, the the political measuring stick is different for Obama....If he starts attacking Hillary, he'll turn-off the independent and fence-riding vote. He still has to continue to play the safe negro role...If he does decide to play ugly, he can FORGET his Presidential aspirations, because this country will turn on his ass in a hot second...

I believe the Republican base will rally in order to prevent Clinton from being elected President. They view her as the anitchrist. Alot of Obama voters may also feel the same as you and vote for McCain on the same lesser of the two evils mindset. I believe Obama would offer a better challenge, but I think Clinton can hurt his viability with these Primaries.

Do you think that the DNC will seat the Florida delegates? I don't see them wanting to alienate Florida voters, and for some reason I think they may want Clinton as the candidate. Otherwise, why haven't more Superdelegates come out in support of Obama to stop this madness?

I believe the issue concerning Florida and possibly Michigan also will become more important now that Hillary has won Penn. If her fundraising totals increase drastically in the next two weeks, she will definitely start pushing harder for Florida's delegates to be seated. Not sure why the Superdelegates are waiting so long, but Howard Dean is putting pressure on them to make up their minds. I think Obama would have gotten alot more Superdelegates to back him if he had of stopped or at least contained the Hill-Devil in Penn

Otherwise, why haven't more Superdelegates come out in support of Obama to stop this madness? Mainly b/c there still a lot of states and time to settle this thing...If Clinton continues with above average showings in Indiana and North Carolina, the delegate situation will be a force to deal with....if not, then it's not even an issue. Going forward, I think the SD's are just waiting for more play-out. Obama has to dominate in upcoming primaries...and stay above the fray...

Pennsylvania was disappointing only in she got that 10 point victory. It's still a ways off from the 30 points down he was projected in the state, but he was down by that many in a LOT of states and was able to pull it off.
What sickens me is this groundswell in the media of, "Why can't he close the deal? Why isn't he winning the big states?" Well...why couldn't she? She was supposed to be the nominee since January. The primaries were just a formality, and she's had the more recognizable name brand in the market.
It's like starting a campaign for ChangePop to take down Coca-Cola and after a year, Coke loses revenues in a majority of the country, but not in Atlanta, where they're based, so Coke says, "ChangePop doesn't have what it takes to be the new market leader." But Coke has been around for umpteen years!
>>>>wants this race to be over so that the efforts can be focused on McCain...
Also...Does anyone think that if Hillary loses, that she'll go on the stump for Barack? If so, won't those states that she's won support Barack? So her posturing now tells me that if the scenarios hold up, and Barack is still the leader and presumptive nominee, she ain't doin' jack for him.

Warren Ballentine said today that he's been of the skewl of thought that Hillary is staying in the race, not to necessarily win the White House this go round, but to make Obama unelectable and McCain will win as a result and she'll then be able to run again in 2012.
It does not seem too far-fetched to me, but I think she really wants the White House now.
Last night's results do not surprise me at all! I will be surprised if he wins Indy to tell you the truth.
Remember, most of the polled voters don't think Clinton is trustworthy, but somehow she won. People ain't voting on the issues in these "blue collar" states. These people are voting on race.
What white blue collar man is going to vote for an Ivy-League educated brotha or a woman against a white (male) war hero to run the country???
