i'm an highschool student. i plan on going to college, while i'm at college i plan on joining a sorority. i just have some concerns about hazing and about going the right way about researching greek organizations and how to find chapters that are near me.... can someone please give some advice and/or sites to go on other than this one? also can some tell me what is bglo/glo. before someone crack on me about asking this, i am new to the greek organizations. i'm doing research. that's exactly why i'm on here in the first place.

i'd start with the national websites, and not necessarily chapter sites.
(B)GLO= (Black) Greek Letter Organization
I'd also look at the Greek life section of the schools in which you are looking to enroll.

It's good that you already thinking ahead, but you need to think ahead also in terms of what college you are interested in going to and actually doing the work now, so that you will be accepted into the schools of your choice. As Alchemist said, once you know what schools you would like to attend, look on national websites of the sororities to see if their are chapters there.

@ Nupey  If a tree loses its leaves it does it because it is a tree and by nature it does so every year. If a "bible beater" preaches against greeklife, it is unsurprisingly because by nature we preach against greeklife. Not a hard concept my skinny armed friend lol |
