Honestly Nupe... this wasn't one of the better shows I've seen from Kappas. Did you like it? What did you think was good about it.

Anyway, it's a show... a real show... and I think if you watch it you'll agree it's a good one.

Plus we know y'all Kappas couldn't hop more than 20 seconds without bursting a lung or messing up your oh so delicate perms. The only women licking their lips at you are the ones trying to tell you to give their lip gloss back.

that second link was MUCH better that the first one. They are the Philadelphia All-Stars. I have seen them perform on several occassions here. They are good. They even performed at the AKA step show last Friday evening. |

The Philadelphia All-Star step team link was nice. I have bros who participate in the Big Ten All Star step team which consist of chapters from the Big Ten conference. Bros from Kappa Omega and Omicron chapters participated with us a few times too...
At Sigma, we performed the Kappa vs. Nupe step and we caught a lot of flap from local Alumni chapters and a few of the surrounding chapters. Alpha chapter was in attendance and didn't like it either. The routine was similar to the link the Nupey posted.

Ha ha....I don't know bro. In the NorthCentral Province, the status quo seems to reign supreme. Meaning that tradition is more important than individual chapter personality, unless you were Alpha chapter, ha ha!.
Our routine was more of a play and poking fun at the Nupe vs. Kappa thing. Brothers talk so much of being a Nupe vs. being a Kappa that it was getting out of hand. So we decided to make a skit out of it and poke fun in a step routine. I understand what bros mean by stressing "NUPE", but it gets taken of context and causes problems at times. The link that you posted was funny because what we did was SIMILAR. We had all the light-skinned bros act as "Kappas" and the darker-skinned bros act as "NUPES". It was absolutely so funny that everyone had a good time with it except for our own members from other chapters. That told me that we're taking ourselves too seriously.
