OK...I like a couple of candidates, Ron Paul on the Republican side, even though his image is that of a crazed scientist sometimes, and Barack Obama.
I am officially Endorsing Obama.
As Out said about having her eye on Clinton, I had my similar eye on Obama, but wasn't willing to commit totally just yet.
I've researched his platform, and there's a list of reasons why. I don't really feel like listing them here...If I must I will, but the CORE of all of my reasonings to endorse this man boils down to this:
For the first time, I feel like there is a candidate who is actually running for the office to help the American people. When I look at everyone else, I evaluate their motives wholly as selfish and egotistical. I think that Obama really looks at the office as a way to bring the people together.
Now, I may be totally naive, and I welcome the dialogue. I know that on some level you don't run for the position unless you want it, which is a selfish motive, but his words and ability to inspire people through those words can go a long way. You also don't go through the effort of trying to inspire people through words unless you care for them. IMHO
I think Hillary is a nice candidate, but I can't see how her motives are for anything but to make history and beat her chest. ^^^^that might hurt.
So...Si Barack Se Puede!
Have a great Super Tuesday Everyone!
>>>>wishes I could vote
>>>>if he wins I will claim providing the "Obama bump"
>>>>if he loses I will blame Al-Qaeda
