These people are never on time for a meeting. You can schedule it, have an alert put on their calendars that tell them an hour before hand and they still act like they never seen it until 10 mins after the meeting was suppose to start.
Also when you call them in regards to the meeting starting they do not answer the phone, but they will call you back 20 mins after the scheduled meeting time and ask you why you didn't do something that would allow them to get to the meeting on time.
I'm just looking forward to the day when I can hand over my resignation letter. Because I have a better job where people show up on time to meeting because they understand that wasting time cost money.

The office manager is once again lobbying to buy something that we do not need for the office. Do we need to have a insta-hot faucet in the kitchenette? You cannot wait a few seconds for the water to get hot? $450 for the unit and then on top of that you have to pay for the install, to me not worth it.
All I know is for years they are telling me they don’t have the money for a pay increase but can spend money on ish like this just based on your recommendation.
Then you want to get a new water cooler because you said the old one was leaking, but when we checked it out the water cooler is fine. Someone spilled water on the floor beside it and did not clean it up. That is another $550 you want to spend even though we got the coolers we 2 years ago and have a 5 year warranty.

LOL. Yep, I can relate the meeting situation. My personal favorite is when you ask me to cover a meeting for you, but you tell me after it's been going on for over an hour. So, I'm not prepared and no value added in my being there. Sigh.
My soror preached the sermon yesterday on finding your purpose and I'm certain that countless meeting attendance and making PowerPoint charts is NOT mine. Deep prayer and contemplation over here. *smile*

It is becoming more and more evident that my boss does not know how email works

Me: 4%. Coworker: Did you mean 5% or 4%? Me: 4%. Coworker: So 4% Me: 4%! Coworker: Okay 4% got it!
If you had it I wouldn't have to repeat myself !

Simple concept
You turn in a time-sheet you get paid for the time
You don't turn in the time-sheet, you don't get paid
Why do you think you will get paid for a time-sheet you have not turned in?
I'm not going to guess the days you worked!
