I want to out together a midnight dodge ball game...but the parks here have an ordinance and you can not be "in the park after dark"

Try a rec center or the backyard of a friend. You can achive darkness in a gym by simply killing the lights. For added fun try to find glow in the dark balls. If you can't find any just add glow in the dark tape or use white balls with blacklights. Depending on where you live there are lots of venues that can be free to near free.

I have a big backyard, but I also have a couple of holes that can cause someone to break/sprang and ankle.
You always use glow in the dark balls or else you don't find the balls until morning...have you never played?
I want to do it at Midnight! it is not dark dodgeball!

No. I've never played that except once when I was around nine. You can still do it at midnight. The holes can be filled with dirt from Home Depot.
