I work in IT in a hospital as well. Believe me if they are set up any where close to ours, this investigation should be over with before it even started. Cameras! We have cameras all the way down the hall where our IT dept is located. Our doors are secured so you HAVE to wave your badge to get in. Reason being....Patients private information, medical records etc...He gets in @ 5am so it's a good chance he's the first to leave. Who ever did this was already inside the IT area waiting for him to leave. That way the perp don't have to badge in (he already in).
Who ever did this could be a very "unaware" dumb ass, or he/she is a clever ass hole who knew how to get this done without being detected.

That is exactly what I was thinking. They have to have cameras. Something in that milk ain't clean.
