I do not know how big the story has been anywhere else, but where I live it is huge. The president of Chick-Fil-A has taken a public stance against gay marriage and it has come out that the company has donated millions to organizations that support that agenda. I have been taken back by the number of Black people who support this way of thinking. I can never get how a people who have such a history of oppression because of who we are can rally behind oppressing others because of who they are.
Needless to say as much as I enjoy the food I will no longer be giving them my money to support causes I do not believe in.
Furthermore, those of us who do not agree with their policies have every right to use our dollars as our voice. What's wrong with a good, ol' fashioned boycott??

listen i'm all for folks no being discriminated against.... but i'm not boycott that precious chicken.. even if it is made out of hate.

chick-fil-a is not a big part of my life. I usually want to eat it on Sunday so they don't get much money from me. I've been 1 time in 3 years.

refuse all you want, ceecee, but i LMBO! The only thing I really get from Chik-Fil-A is the Ice Dream and my #teamfit ways don't allow that to happen too often.

I think this is a big story all over the country. The only thing I'll say is that this whole thing has gone too far on both sides.
