I say (as I said last night on twitter after 3 martinis): There is no "one that got away." If it was meant to be, they would never have gotten away. Future happiness does not depend on exploring every single possibility with every single person. There is no "right person/wrong time" scenario. If the timing is wrong, so is the entire situation. If a person is "the one" (not sure whether I subscribe to this concept) I'm certain that it will be abundantly clear. No guessing. You're right....Your future happiness will depend on how willing you are to explore every single possibility with one single person.... Just talking aloud....because what would you have left for that ONE person if all those possibilities were explored? you got me thinking... |

I think for the most part
Everyone has had, and has been, "the one that got away". What does it mean for your life?
Some relationships aren't meant to go the distance, they are meant to TEACH you something, and the sooner you learn it the better off you'll be. At least, that's what I say on March 12, 2012. A year from now? Who knows. You right Damie, I guess at the time I was the one doing the teaching, being patient, understanding and loving. They was not ready for that then. They are now STILL trying to "hook up" with me. I am glad though I did get away because seeing them now some of the are ewwww and some have teeth missing. |
