The natural history of a West Indian religion (Spiritual Baptist) on two Caribbean Islands (Trinidad & Tobago n St. Vincent). I'm reading the two for comparing and contrasting purposes. Even though I fully know and understand the differences, I find it interesting to read how people of the Caucasian persuasion interprets my culture and roots.
I can see how it would be boring to the average person though.

However due to the fact of "Tobago being the illegitimate stepchild of Trinidad who no one remembers" and people of the Caucasian persuasion invading the surrounding grenadine islands....I'm classifying it at 2 islands today. ;D

For the most part they get things right in their fieldwork. Wallace Zane (Journeys to the Spiritual Lands) and Bradford Keeney (Shakers of St. Vincent) correctly interpreted the history and culture of my people as best they could. The aspect most white folk lack is the knowledge of "town" and "country". When they travel and they stay in some resort, they get the tourist experience not the country side living I know. Very few venture that far inland. To answer your question: football

Nahhh, that tune was brought to my attention by a [yankee] friend of mine who wanted to know the meaning of Soca Baptist. Besides, when it comes to Soca I tend to listen to only Beckett. I'm never up on the new tunes.
