^^^ I had thought about doing some like that before.. but if you do that (destroy the friendship because you want something more) do you really value the friendship in the first place?? I felt kinda guilty about that Evidently I had never been friend zoned before.. lol

coming up, I was always around guys (shut up, Alc lol). So once i got older, the friend zone was automatic when it came to guys from the neighborhoods. I'll even go further and say i was in the "Just Like Family" zone. Moving ahead to college, the reasons I got for being in the "Friend Zone/Off Limits Box" was because I'm the "Wifey" type. Guys would always tell me that I'm the type of chick they'd settle down with once they were done hoe'n around. Unfortunately, no one really wants to settle down in college. lol yea. this pretty much translated into "you ain't screwing and I'm trying to sow my royal oats."

A Friend Zone, to me, is probably best called Nothing More Than Just a Friend EVER Zone. That's what they tend to be.
Why someone might figure they're stuck there? Experience. Most FriendZones that I've ever seen are one way gates. Once you go in - you stay in. There is no coming out.
Guys have "FriendZones" and "Off Limit Boxes". Friend Zone is for women who just do not, despite their best efforts, attract you. Off Limit Boxes - are women who you find attractive but you keep them at shoulders length (due to age disparity, working in same building, ex-girlfriend of a close friend, married/involved, etc.). That said - with dudes - no box is permanent. Given the right set of conditions you can still get outside the box Hmmm... I think my answers here are mostly consistent with what I said back in 2009. I didn't think you could get out of the Friendzone then, I still don't think you can get out of it now.
I still think there's an "Off Limit Box" too... cause there kinda is (depending on how negroid you are). But I picked up a term from VSB to describe what guys do to girls and it's called the "Option Zone" and yes it works exactly how it sounds.
You won't boo her up, but you will keep her around as an option. I think women hate this zone as much as we hate the friendzone (but there's purely conjecture on my part)

You still got that "new car" smell on you. I will always look at you as a newbie who made good on her messageboard career. But really I can't even do that, because after 3 years, you'd be considered a seasoned vet if this were the NBA.

I really didn't know guys operate a kinda "friend-zone" approach. I always assumed it was chick thing because, hell, let's face it, women have way more options than guys could ever dream of.
Personally, among my group of friends, coming up with an "off-limit" box is way over our pay scale. I'm not even that bright to manage the qualifications of the "off-limit" box....I thought men were too basic, predictable and primal to fend-off or comparmentalize the opposite sex. Men will fuck a hole in the earth...so with that in mind, it's not impossible, but just hard to imagine a guy being that picky...
Begining with age disparity, particularly young men, love cougars...especially sexy and unhappily married ones.
Working in the same building with a woman who you want to have sex with, is a guys dream. We look at it as convience. Maybe not generally, but within that hemisphere.
Ex-girlfriend of a close friend is off limits, so that one I agree with. It's just too much available ass on the ass market to go after the homies ex.
Married? I've been involved with a married woman before. It was difficult to keep her away.
Good topic.

Some cougars you can't keep as pets, the humane thing is to put them down... with a rifle. Few things turn me off as much as Cougar trying desperately (and ultimately in vain) to recapture the glow from her heyday; who cannot accept the new reality, which is, she can't have any man that she wants anymore.
And I would never mess with the ex of my people (which hasn't stopped them from trying me). I'm just not built that way. If you are my peoples and that was your girl (not your knock off, but your girl) she is off limits. No questions asked.
$h!tting where you eat? Well you just have to have that situation go sideways once, and that's all you'll need to put co-workers off limits. There is nothing worse than an angry woman who has it in for you, who you cannot escape... not even when you go to work.
As for married women... again, you plant, you harvest. In the grand scheme of things, it just isn't worth it (at least to me) but to each their own.

Well as long as I'm on here, rest assured you never have to agree with me. I'm fine with 2 people giving 2 different view points, dapping, and going their separate ways still not agreeing.
The fun is in the discussion.
That said... how do you go about stalking your potential Cougars? Do you reverse it on 'em? Do you wait for them hiding in the Tall Grass? LOL

If stalking in the Tall Grass is flashing a toothy smile and a free lunch to the local buffet, then that's exactly what I do.
