I don't think love is one of those things you "figure out." I feel it's more of something you learn as you go.
What does love mean to you, how do you know you're experiencing it?
mmm. What does love mean to me? I have a hard time putting this into words without getting a bit cliche or sappy. I do know that if I can't imagine a tomorrow without you, I love you. There are things that you will do for the person you love that won't even cross your mind for someone else.
How do I know when I'm experiencing it? For me, the realization has always been a lightbulb type thing. I never realize I'm there until one day it hits me. Same with realizing he loves me. You can tell me all day long, but sometimes it takes that unexpected jolt to really understand that you do.

I'll proceed. I have preached being in love three times. After finding love, I contend that I safely, have only been in love once. The other two were deep emotions of lust and inexperience. Normality is subjective. I'll leave at that... Regarding the confines of the relationship, I was well within a very defined relationship. She fucked only me and visa-verse, I guesstimate. I don't know...and I say this because I really don't know, but how someone can experience "in-love" with someone who you are not in a defined and non-platonic relationship with is above my pay scale.
