I'm not very good at this. Sometimes I get all tongue tied and talk really really fast. How do I bridge that gap and find a common interest? Pointers and tips please I am all ears.

I've been doing and ok job throwing out the reel even got some bites. Gotta work on my elevator pitch a bit...Met 4 new contacts in persona and added 15 new people to my Linkedin account. Go meeee!

Speak to strangers as you would a friend. Come up with a 15 second elevator pitch. Ask open-ended questions..questions that solicit critical thought and long-winded answers. It always leads to into a common interest dialouge. Good luck.

I will be attending a job fair this coming week I will definately be doing some networking.
I've been told women should wear pants suits to interviews/job fairs it makes them look stronger and more serious vs a skirt or dress which makes them look like they want to entice their way in. REALLY never heard or thought of it like that. Your thoughts.....?
