I was looking at an online forum and these questions came up. I found it very interesting that some of the white forum participants concluded and admitted that homo sapien DNA began on the African Continent.
What is the meaning of race? Race is something that humans invented.
Is race genetic construct or a social construct? I believe it is categorizing people into superior and inferior groups based on certain physical characteristic, making it a social construct versus a genetic one. We think with our eyes and not with our brains.
What are the Top 10 events in American Race Relations history?

My thoughts:
I don't think race actually has a meaning it is more of an identity, while I don't think humans invented it either. I think humans defines it wrong. The word race is closely related to the word species. But in today's time race is defined as the color of one's skin. Race has nothing to do with skin color. Humans are a race, animals are a race.
The word race, it's use or HOW it is used has become associated with how one is judged.

Therefore, race is the genetic construct by human beings based on skin complexion and defines the superiority premise with social race engineering. Doubt it, but I gave it the 'ol college try... 1. African Slavery 2. Civil War 3. Emancipation Proclamation 4. Integration of pro sports 5. Native Amercian exploit 6. The Great Migrate Period 7. Jim Crow 8. Civil Rights 9. Brown v. B of Ed. 10.
