At any rate, has anything majorly changed in your life since you began posting here? Did you useta be a weave-master and you now are rocking a fresh baldy? Were you anti-kids and popped out 3 or 4 last year?
Any significant shifts in your worldview?

Me, myself personally? When I first joined, I was very careful about my viewing selection, ya know trying to purify my mind. Now (in part, I blame y'all) I've become hooked on Ratchet Television. Give me some "Shotclock Strumpets," "BBall Bustdowns," "Real Sidepieces of the SWATS" or anything of that sort and I'm good to go.

Anything major? Not really. I have changed my whole hair care process, but it wasn't anything drastic. More into make-up, and some of you (shout outs to L, Reign, and Saph) keep me encouraged throught this whole #teamfit process

Outside of eradicating the weirdness of knowing people online before the social media craze... It ............ hell what did it do.... Oh. It has been a great resource to bounce ideas of any sort, from organizational to personal to business. Unexpectedly became a networking tool.
I blame (and love it at the same time) for knowing a lot of randomly ignorant youtube videos.

Yes! OOA (and FB's FAP) have kept me in the loop for all manner of viral meme ignorance. Unfortunately I missed out on the whole "honeybadger" franchise and I definitely blame the board's deadness for that. Otherwise it certainly would have made it to my twitter list of McRib Ingredients.

a lot of sisters have gone natural since hitting the board. Some, such as 91 and Chal even previously said that they didn't want to be natural.

lol. Back then I though "natural" meant big thick wool-like afros. I've learned more about hair care (natural and otherwise) from this board than anywhere else.

I use OOA since I don't have a FB page any longer. Never was into the Twitter hype. My inital intent was to find out about greek like and get a better understanding but the site has done far more than that. Since joining I have learned alot about traveling (shout out to Ms. Aroung the World), natural hair care processes, weight loss (got 'em Coach), and a host of other things. Oh yes and my 1 year OOAnniversary is coming up soon! |
