How do I serve God?
1) Through prayer for others and self. Also, by giving my tithes and offering. Even though it seems like I just giving money to the church. That's what he asks of me so that's what I TRY to do faithfully and consistently.
2) I volunteer my time money and efforts to my family and within my community. I try to help others that are less fortunate or even more fortunate than I. I just like helping others so it comes naturally. I volunteer in my church by joining ministries and with BBBS, Best Buddies and a host of other organizations. I try not to spread myself too thin but I feel like I can sleep when I am gone. I try to keep myself busy and my mind active.
3) Also, by being a role-model. I'm not perfect nor do I lead a perfect life but I know that others may look up to me so I try to set a positive example by using my failures or faults as motivation.

Looks like someone has been inside my head...
I serve God by:
(1) working daily to take in accurate knowledge and become versed in His word--in order to be fully aware of all that he requires
(2) trying with my entire heart, mind and strength to adhere to that which He requires-- taking great care to avoid the things He detests.
(3) praying fervently on behalf of my friends, family, self, those related to me in the faith and sometimes people I have never met
(4) repenting quickly and sincerely when I fall short
(5) most importantly, spreading the good news about God's Kingdom (which is not optional, but on which my salvation is conditioned)
