When setting your standards on a person that you will/will not date would you accept the ones below? Add to the list
1. Tried Cocaine
2. Has children by multiple men/women (3+)
3. Been engaged in a sexual act with same sex
4. Does not believe in God/Jesus/Christ
5. Committed a crime
6. Said they USE to be a pathological liar (lol)

all but 1, 2 and 5 are dealbreakers. The other things I can work with. #3...you can FUHGEDDOUBOUDIT (assuming it was voluntary)

A friend of mine say her boyfriend just told her back in the day he was introduced to the White Girl. I'm like awwwww hell!
My other friend found out her boyfriend at the time (now ex) and baby daddy has done gay porn for pay. Shyt.
I met a guy through a friend who told me he use to be a gigalo and a pathologial liar. I'm like WTF

2. Nope. Even one child is nearly becoming a deal breaker for me...I've had too much baby-daddy drama.

6. I'd give them a chance. Until they lie to me, its possible they could have changed.

I might date a 21 year old, but she would have to be extremely impressive. 38 is the oldest I've ever dated, but I wouldn't rule out 40+. 10. I used to be against this but I've had a change of heart. Yes. 11. Did once before, probably not again. 12. Maybe...depends on her circumstances. 13. Not porn, but I have dated a stripper and I would possibly consider it again. |

I'd like to change my answer to number 2. 3+ baby mamas gets a HELL NO! I misread and assumed that multiple meant more than 1. I could maybe do 2 babymamas, MAYBE. Depending on age of dude, relationship with said 'mamas, overall stats/qualifications, etc...
Some people were EXTREMELY young and dumb and are now great, mature, loving adults.

Would any of you date someone who dated a close relative? Like a brother/sister or first cousin? Lets say they dated 5+ years ago and both have moved on since then...there are no lingering feelings.

No I think there are some boundaries that you just shouldn't cross. It does not matter how long ago it has been find someone else. That may cause problems when at a family function especially if your family thinks your ex is still with you when they are really with someone else. |

9. Much older/younger than you (10+ years)- Theoretically yes. However, a person 10 years younger than me is still in the throes of puberty. I've dated multiple men 10, 11,12+ years older than I. Hasn't been a problem. I'd do it again.
10. You worked with them daily- depends on how you mean "work with." I'd date someone who didn't work in my office, but whom I saw in court very frequently. I might date someone in my agency who didn't work in my practice area. But daily, up-close-and-personal on my team? Nah, pimp.
11. Does not like children- It's fine. I don't care for them either.
12. Is unemployed - Between jobs or laid off? Yes. Hustling or living off the govt (yes, even if he's ambitious...gotta have something to show for it eventually)
13: Has been/is a stripper or done porn- Never. We've all done things we're not proud of, but not all of us have video proof.

8. Depends...there are a lot of disabilities and mental illnesses that aren't severe and leave folks fully functional.
9. Nope. I wouldn't date a 19 year old or a 39 year old.
10. Not if we were in the same office or building. But the same company/lab yes.
11. Not ever because kids are awesome.
12. depends on the reason. It they're just lazy then no but if it's because life/shyt happens then yes.
13. Stripper, maybe. Porn, no.
